how long the device stop acting make u classified it hang? need more info on that. and most likely some of ya audio files are corrupted. try to delete everything on ya phone and do a brand new sync again.

ok... let try this.

1. make a backup of all ya audio files on ya phone to desktop/laptop
2. delete all audio related folders/files in ya phone
3. do a reboot for your phone.
4. sync/copy back any 2 audio files to ya phone
5. lets play ya audio files again.

if its still hang like you said earlier. then it might be some corrupted mangonised files on ya phone. then you are advise to go back to 7004 again to perform the update steps by steps again.

or else... 99% gotta do with ya audio files or setting.

report back here if you have any issue again.

No problem. the above method is only let you have a better picture of what giving you problem, so that u can isolate possible cause and fix it at a minimum period.

since confirmed mangonised files. u have 2 option.

1. revert back to NoDo. unless you are sure your NoDo is a very good copy. or else u will faced the same problem again after mangonised ya device.

2. revert back to original factory default 7004. and start all over from 7004 to 7008 to 7392 to 7403 to 7720 again. this option is the most time consuming but the problem solver for all.

i never said u will get problem again if you revert back to your NoDo which you backup earlier. i said "might" only. this will depend on the NoDo backup which u got it earlier are corrupted in certain files or not. if it's corrupted before you backup. the same problem like now "might" occur again after u update to Mango.

i am just trying to tell you how u can troubleshoot ya problem and what are the possible fix u can go. if you think u paid the device and the device is faulty. u can send back to SIS and wait for ages to get it back from them without really knowing what happen to your device.

well.... i'm always itchy finger one. remember i locked my device on first day mango and i unlock it again from 7392. all within same day. :-p

one thing... did you take out the SIM and put in another SIM and power on the phone? or u just take out the SIM and put it back again?

nope. There is internal battery for hd7 or any other model for HTC. Not sure about other brand.

And yes before u go mango. U should use ansar unlock xap before u update. I screwed up my wife Mozart just because of this too I think.

No matter u go 7403, 7712 or 7720. Please make sure u perform the unlock xap by ansar to stay unlock.

lol.... welcome to the new era of smartphone. u dont have to close the app. and open as many as u cant. overall. it wont slow down and hang ya device. dont worry...

WP7 will only allow 5 application running background at 1 times adopted the idea from IOS. anything more than 5 it will drop off the last one. however, by pressing "back"(not holding back) u can go back to more than 5 apps ran previously.

by tweaking the registry. fast resume is available. it work faster resume than the normal without tweak.

so far i never encounter hang since Nov 2010 even i am on the factory default ROM 7004. so there's no restart yet for me. i only power it off and on when i perform DFrouter mode.

BIT(Background Intelligent Transfer) is a windows services that use for update of all their products.

U cam try turn it by going to computer management tools. Services and searches for BIT and turn it on.

If u can not turn on this services mean u are:-

1. Ya windows is corrupted so u have to find a way to fix it.
2. Ya are using a pirated windows where they most likely kill this services permanently to prevent it connected to Microsoft server and verify these copy illegal or not.

U have the below options to get ya phone update now.

1. Stay with ya mac and google a solution on how do update ya device using mac.
2. Perform a repair to your windows with a original good copy dvd.
3. Borrow a laptop/notebook from someone willing to borrow u.
4. Purchase a brand new laptop/desktop which bundle legal windows copy or purchase a legal windows copy and do a new installation on ya mac or PC.

even with maxis uncap and unlimited data plan. i dont need AP function.

why do u all want it? to show off others than u can do? careful people. exit bandwidth will be cap at very low speed and will bring u all trouble when u really need it. and worst if charge if it exit-ed.

I do vpn too. But I use phone to dialup and same time talking on phone. I have no problem at all.
