Yesterday went to Popular and I have stop buying for about one week since last week, guess what? Yesterday I have to buy all 3 set from #5 until #8. When buying more than one issue will be a bit pricy.

But now, I got the nose part almost complete (at least can see it is a well done front nose), the feeling is way higher than the money you paid actually (provided your budget is still allow you doing so).

Following issue, I think is less "stick on" process and more "screw up" joint part. wink.gif

I was miss out the issue 10 last week and thinking I would able to get it yesterday (Sunday) at MPH. Only upon asking, at MPH, if you miss out the pass week release, then you will not able to find the older issue at their book shelf. As based on the personnel there, once the latest issue receive, they will keep the old issue back to the store and ready to return back to the supplier.

But if you still want, you need to ask them if the old issue still in the store (back room) and they will happy to get it for you. wink.gif So, I manage to get both issue 10 and 11 from MPH last Sunday. Lucky lucky.

Different with Popular, regardless if old or new issue, all will be at the book shelf until they sold out.

Issue 1 and 2.
Mr. Hobby cement only works on ABS. There are some parts which are die-cast metal so you need superglue. Apply your cement on both place where its going to glue together, wait a while before pressing them together. Mr. Hobby not as powerful as Tamiya's or Mr. Cement but works also, cept slower. rclxms.gif

Ya, I am currently using Tamiya's cement. Works well on any plastic surface and dry up consider quite fast also.

Be careful when using super glue and avoid using it on ABS (plastic) surface, as it will "eat in" to the plastic surface. After dry up and the surface will become "white spotted" and spoil the paint on it. Super glue also dry up too fast and you won't able to adjust the glue position if you want to.

Bro, you need to use small portion of superglue only, use toothpick to sapu the glue to the plastic. I manage to glued 1:43 diecast side mirror (black coloured & plastic) without any white spot.

Ya, think I did "over use" for the superglue. tongue.gif Thanks for the advice, will put in mind next time using it. wink.gif

It is seem like at this moment, for those who didn't order via the company can get the issue faster than those who did. But of cause who know in time to come, those who didn't order and fight to get the issue from the nearby bookstore and still can't get it as too many people buying. tongue.gif

Surprisingly I manage to purchase Issue 13 from Popular yesterday. Sometime is really like hunting game, when you don't look for it, it will appear, when you purposely look for it, then you will not able to get it.

Looking forward for Issue 14 as it is the start for the rear wing. wink.gif

I guess if inside the issue, suddenly they put in some free stuff, then this would make the issue more interesting. Otherwise, well... just like normal collection item, wait, assemble, wait (repeat), nothing would make thing more interesting, right?

Hi ckshieh, do you find the engine cover cant fit in well with the rear wing cover, if wana fit nicely then the front engine side cant cover properly, if engine side wana cover properly then the back cant cover nicely with the rear wing. u face this problem? any solution?
*
Ya, same issue with me, either way, I dont think there is a solution to this if you want to let the cover remove to show case. I have search thru the internet, some site did provide some guide on this issue but doesn't seem like able to solve.

For me, just let it be, try to arrange as much as you could with the rear engine cover and hope the gap won't be too great.

If you really feel "heart pain" seeing the gap, use super glue and settle them once and for all. tongue.gif

Where did u do this casing? I am looking for a display cabinet. But this looks good.

You can ask those shop which got do for photo frame, example, you bring a photo or picture (big size) then they put on a frame based on your photo and put a glass in front to cover, those kind of shop.

Display cabinet good provided your place is big enough to place the display cabinet. For me, even this display case, I have difficulty to put. hahaha.

Got the last issue # 85 but not yet putting on all the decal. Not sure if really need the decal softener or not as it will be hard to get from KL or PJ as not many hobby shop carry them. Went to 1U tamiya and ask, no stock, and don't know when will come, said is 3 weeks time doh.gif

Search from the internet, look like can use clear vinegar to replace this decal softener, anyone try before?

This is what I have so far:

You see, from the top, the engine cover gap between the body isn't that bad. Of cause if you see from the side, haha, all the ugly will come out. PS: Taken the photo via my Samsung S4 under a low light living room condition, not bad eh? tongue.gif
