well, if you calculate the first two issues at 29.90 (9.90 + 19.90) and the rest at 29.90...yeah, you are saving a little - about 10 bucks. But you do get all the goodies and a free issue. So this promotion is a good thing for collectors.

Do you have the terms and conditions for the subscription?
*
Yeah, the saving is one thing, but the freebies is kinda premium on its own.. smile.gif AFAIK, if you opt to pay via online banking/transfer like me, you have to at least subscribe to 8 issues per subscription.. The first 8 issues not including Issue 1 calculation are as follows..

Issue 2 - Issue 9 = RM199.30
Issue 10 - Issue 17 & per 8 issues onwards = RM239.20

Hope that helps..

come to think of it, 1/8 scale would be quite big, no? And completing such a beaut, well, having it completed itself is an achievement. Do keep posting here, I don't have the bullets for it, but I'm interested to see it get completed laugh.gif

Was into it when they launched it earlier in the year... but then they stopped at #5 because of some dispute (?).
#1-4 should let you complete the nose cone and the front wheels.

Nice collection there bro. nod.gif I did asked them, and they said the earlier release is just to test the market. Don't know if that's the real reason.

I hope the really re-launch it for real this time cause this 1/8 scale is freaking awesome and I desperately want it! But those issue 1 available at the store now all look like od stock, like they wanna clear.

I subscribed already last time, even visited the All Script office personally but I wonder if I need to subscribe again for the freebies. Haih

Maybe old stock, they just change the brochure for the date change. Anyway, order now before it's too late. Hehe.

Nope. Only if you subscribe starting from Issue 2 then Issue 3 will be free. If you stop at Issue 3, then some later time you subscribe again, you'll not get the next issue for free. That's what the staff brief me yesterday through a call.

Update: AllScript has confirmed my payment and has created an account number for my future use/subscription. I paid a total of RM199.30 for Issue 2 - Issue 9. They'll deliver the 1st freebies (McLaren cap) together with my 1st shipment (Issue 2, 3, 4).

Added on September 28, 2011, 12:48 amto spur some interests among readers...I've made a list of parts you will receive with each issue up to issue #26. Its on the 1st post, kept under spoilers.

According to this list by DeAgostini website, front brake units will take 5 issues/weeks to complete!! shocking.gif
But surprisingly, engine will only require 2 issues rolleyes.gif

Added on September 28, 2011, 1:23 ama small photo to show how "large" the F1 steering wheel for subscribers will be...

That's Amalgam bro. This F1 is Kyosho. Amalgam's 1:8 car cost around 15K.

In F1 world, Amalgam is more like Vettel while Kyosho is probably Renault driver.

Tamiya & Revell? FYI, Amalgam's details is much2 more superior than most high-end car models company like Autoart, Kyosho, Minichamps & even BBR/MR.
