Very stress for assemble issue number 74.. As mention by Aswlee, I also found there was a gap, on "sidepod cowl part" left site.
Planning to fix the "sidepod cowl & copit, together with engine" next week. For my experience, it there was a gab, it will effecting other next issue. This post has been edited by collinjn81: Mar 18 2013, 05:21 PM |

Collinjn81, my current problem is a gap when I fitted the monocoque (the one with Aigo on the side). However, I had the same issue as you do. What I did was to tighten the screws below the car even more until the gap closed.

Hi everybody, i am to this thread, currently i have collected most of the part (up to 73th issue to be exact, all is still sealed in the plastic bags). I wish to known the type of the 3 glues being used for this build.

i assume that the super glue will be the normal elephant brand, while for the tamiya cement i bought in a tamiya CA cement Strong, is it suitable?

yes..those would be enough
i been using normal elephant glue and normal mr.hobby cement for this model all the way till now and word of advice, the front part of the carbon decal are kindda tricky to applied if you have less experience with water slide decal....so be careful with it when applying or you might end up curl or ripped the decal |

QUOTE(VincC454 @ Mar 21 2013, 10:41 PM) Ya the tamiya cement is good but i noticed mine when it dries, it will expand abit, supposingly no gap when i press it, after dried theres a tiny gap, even all the time pressing it. Aiya. How bout yours?Elephant glue, very secure and tight but big risk of having the white spot thingy and spoits it. Eats the paint too. |

u need to careful when using the super glue (problem is most part of the model use super glue :s)....yes they will be white residue if you applied them too much or too thick. try using toothpick like been shown in the instruction |

Aiya. How bout yours? I used Tamiya ABS Cement and Tamiya Ultra thin, to avoid gab, I used masking tape, and leave it about 1 to 2 hour. Elephant glue, very secure and tight but big risk of having the white spot thingy and spoits it. Eats the paint too. It apply to much ABS cement it will leave white spot, but can removed. |
