There will be urm "factions" you can join in the game and each one has their own agenda and gives you very different rewards Really nice addition.

what is the maximum number of people you can summon?

I hope its that, he said he's damn scared to play alone and actually gave up playing till we could coop..

back of the game casing says 2-4 players but now more than 1 Invader can enter your realm at the same time D:

For Demon's Soul, the maximum number of people you can summon for coop is 2 players.

If Dark Souls can summon 4 players for coop then that would be great!

I think it's 4 including you not sure though gotta try!

not imba la, if can summon 4..... lol.... its the same as demon souls i'd reckon.... 4 players the max in a single session. U + 2 ally for co-op + 1 dark phantom.

^ You meant imba? It might be that you can summon 2 human players and 1 npc player. As for Invasions I remember watching a vid with 2 black phantoms but I can't seem to find it ><

is it possible to let my friend join my game? i heard you need to open an invitation to allow other players join, so what if i just do that at the bonfire and let my friend jump right into it?

You need to get a white soap stone from the Solaire Knight near where the dragon is guarding the bridge. Then use it to "write" a summon sign on the floor, whoever sees this (another player) and activates it summons the person who "wrote" the sign. But the person summoning the other player has to be alive and the person who wrote the sign needs to be hollow. It worked this way in Demons Souls so I'm guessing its the same thing. There was a level cap of 10 or 20 iirc in Demons so not sure about that either here.

LOL who but honestly I've yet to coop as I've never been summoned or have never seen any soul signs on the floor

that means it'll be a totally random player? Oh dear thought i could camp this game at my friends house doing coop >.>

Well you could hide your summon sign like what me and my friends used to do in Demons, like hiding it behind barrels or wooden planks XD

lol what a way, but that doesn't mean the other player will necessarily see it right? it might only be visible to certain players or something, no?

I don't think everyone could see it, probably in a way it still is region restricted, who knows. If not when you look at your feet all you can see is white and black text filling the floor ._. and yea you might get "unlucky" and get summoned by someone else.
