I tested this myvi 1.5 auto extreme,3 person on board,
compare with my mother persona iafm 1.6 manual , myvi felt faster,
no need mention myvi 1.5 manual la,

feel faster or feel not safe bro?
good car on high speed no feel anything

i don't owned a myvi or persona but i think the 1.5 turtle has some gud looking on it.

performance tested my frens 1.3 with 3 person on board also not bad so i guess 1.5 will be more stunning.

interior quite clean with 2 din with GPS.

so in conclusion sooner or later the highway will be hog by 1.3 and 1.5 turtle.

if u ask me , i would buy myvi 1.5 se manual.

1 thing i suggest you to do,

Take myvi and persona , find a corner try it @ 70~100 km/h


MRR2 towards sri petaling , after Bandar Tasik Selatan , got 1 corner , try that then let us know myvi or persona better.


dont ask me the result coz i tested many time with different speed (persona car)

I drive around 80-90km/h at that corner with 96' Satria no brake at all... True story...

I drive savvy manual , I dont play corner , I play drag only.
but one thing my car like give me sensors problem,every month must wash flywheel sensor if not hard start car.

my savvy apr 06 only worth rm12k only,they willing take.

last timme 1 savvy play corner , play until total lose but driver nothing happen to him.

another is got sand they play corner with ,lanngar divider need rework side car.

water ,sand come u die .

that y i dont play corner, i drive savvy 15" oso sked la....

tyre air , tyre flower , all play important role.

that corner is nothing as long as u know to control well, u don accidentally brake hard when suddenly saw a car in front of u, once u brake, at that speed, u can call the tow truck

i kena potong by modified turtle at that corner. i heard psh psh psh sound before reaching the corner and that car later overtake me at middle lane. that time i was at fast lane slowdown from 110km/h to 80km/h b4 i reach the corner. that myvi phailed to make itself turtle during he overtake me. true story.

no doubt i feel myvi 1.5 has the best kick compare gen2 cps manual i tested...

due to weight and 1.5 toyota, no doubt myvi 1.5 is better fc than vios and campro.

MyVi is good. But quite expensive for a smaller car.

If acceleration is not really your concern then get the Persona.

If cornering fast is not really your concern then get the MyVi.

According to paultan,the myvi 1.5's suspension has been redesigned.The Myvi that got turtled we have seen were mainly 1.3.
So,anyone have seen any Myvi 1.5 turtled yet?

Any pictures of MyVi Lagi Best 1.3 that got turtled?

take myvi 1.5, manual, then change the suspension set to pro-ride sport, GAB or Beilstein,

then of coz you can smack the persona's driver.

I don't see any Lagi Best 1.3L turtled yet. Mind showing me the pictures?

6) Acceleration=myvi 60%, persona 40 %
7)Resale value= myvi 65%, persona 35%
8) can turtle or not = both cannot turtle la if drive carefully..hehe

im almost 190 and im sitting at the rear of my persona also nothing wrong. =.=...

myvi looks cheap..

but truly said persona rear seat abit cramp especially the back support is awful design..

Persona FTW!!! The interior of Persona was better than the old myvi but slightly lousier than the current myvi lagi best. But the 1.5 myvi has one of the best interiors for our local made though... But still falls behind Preve's interior... But Preve's price is already at the high side so cannot compare.. Anyway, here are the rest of my personal experience.. i've driven both cars btw.. not once but so many times..

In terms of:

Pick up = Myvi

Back power = Persona (Myvi is a joke when it comes to back power for highway cruising. Power stops at 120km/h while persona still have plenty even at 160km/h)

Comfort = Persona (Myvi feels bumpy, scary and noisy during high-speed cruising. Persona is silky smooth and quiet even at 180km/h)

Fuel efficiency = Myvi (But myvi is considered not fuel economical for a 1.3 liter car)

Body = Persona. Just open the doors and you'll feel the quality of Persona. Myvi feels very milo tin (Previous and current gen myvis)

Highway cruising = Persona! You can even sleep at the backseat of the car in high-speed..

Interior = Myvi (Persona isn't that bad though but myvi seems more refined)

Handling = Persona la!! Even the latest myvi feels floaty at high speed as well as cornering at high speed..

Engine = Persona.. The pick up is slow because the engine is tuned for back power so you'll still have plenty of power at high speed.. Anyway, pick up isn't all that slow.. I would say it is only slightly slower than myvi..

Reliability = Persona!! Current gen myvi i dunno lah... As for the previous gen myvi, my little brother used to own one and it's a pain in the ass!! So many faults during his 1st year of ownership.. Front axle rosak la, steering got sound when driving across uneven roads la, back door leaking when raining la, engine bocor and all the oil leaked out of the car la, dash board rattling sound when driving across uneven roads la.. He got so fed-up of it after 3 years of ownership and traded it in with a M line Persona.. his persona never gave him problem and this is his 4th year of ownership with 120,000 km on the clock. I was telling him back then that he is making another mistake by trading his myvi in with another lousy problematic car because Gen 2 and persona is roughly the same but i was wrong!! changed my impression on Proton cars since then...

So my vote goes to Persona Elegance!!
