This morning Alliance gave CIMB a short term BUY Call.
We believe that there is good upside potential for CIMB due to the MACD Golden Cross formation as shown in the chart. This indicates that CIMB is in short term rebound.
Therefore, we recommend a SHORT-TERM BUY on CIMB if the price is traded within RM 6.85 and RM 7.00. Stop loss is located at RM 6.50, and the profit target level is set at RM 7.50.
The Reward to Risk ratio is approximately 1.3 to 1.

QUOTE(cherroy @ Sep 28 2011, 05:37 PM) But if you pay good dividend, price is sustained itself. Look at Digi, Bat, etc, you don't need to buy back a single share, the price automatically staying high, even market plunge, they are still rock solid high. Added on September 28, 2011, 5:38 pmI find share buyback is totally useless, specifically for the reason to support share price. That reminds me of Bkawan which has stopped share buy back activity since one month ago. The good part is, our company is giving out higher dividend as compared to last year.

QUOTE(rayng18 @ Sep 29 2011, 02:47 PM) Oh no. SPS-wb matched 83K at 0.785 system error!!!!!!!!!!! You got that? Wow exciting! If WB offering price is 90 sens, which means you still have another 14% upside. However, since SPS already reached quota (RM3.90), thereotically nobody wants to buy above RM3.90 right now, if tomorrow SPS doesn't move, will WA move? Willits call warrant move as well?

QUOTE(cherroy @ Sep 29 2011, 02:53 PM) There is no reason why SPS cannot go beyond RM3.90. As the offer is not intended to take it private. I see. But why is SPS price hover at 3.8x since the whole morning?

QUOTE(cherroy @ Sep 29 2011, 03:02 PM) Because Rm3.90 is the base line, aka you have people offer you at RM3.90 in the future. Any buying below Rm3.90 is safe, you won't lose money, but it doesn't mean it cannot go beyond Rm3.90, if market is bullish enough or SpSetia is valued more due to whatever reason. If PNB intended to take it private at RM3.90, you won't see people buying at RM3.88 either. The most will be around Rm3.80 only. Thanks! Got it now.
