it will take longer time to do mah if quietly buy. Furthermore as majorshareholder they have to report to Bursa all buying and selling. Then bursa have to publish in the media of the changes in substantial shareholdings. If every1 see PNB buying a lot nobody will sell to them expecting to catch higher price.

If I am not mistaken, PNB announced it after they have sufficient to take over already.
FF and Liew total have slightly less than 33%. Once PNB has more than that, he's taikor liao.
He just announced to sapu more share in order to gain more.
