is it just me or does the video configuration screen keep crashing the game?

Nope, don't have that problem myself. But I have serious menu lag-spike after a few sessions of games... Have to restart.

Is this game supposed to be stupidly easy?

I mean, I just played 4 games and I came out on the top 3 of my team.

Hell, the last game I played, I was the best player in the server.

I'm a total FPS noob and frequently got on podium too. Of course, when the real skilled players showing up I'm at the tail of the list for sure... (my latency is no good... zzz)

Problem though, when a high level player joined in a group of lowbies with his superior gears... a bit of problem.

you juz need to be smart using ur skill n ambush them n yah it easy to kill them. easier than BF 3 even though its 8v8.

Seriously, they should remove HRV from the game. It really spoils the element of surprise, that ppl can just press a key to find out your location.

i think this is the game key feature, so if you remove it, the game just became another common fps.

still, you need to use it at the right timing, conserve your HRV smartly and use it to outgun your opponent.

are malaysians at serious disadvantage pingwise? tho i see the game quite fast paced like CS. if they mechanism same as CS, even 30-40ms difference is sky and ground...

Not really a big disadvantage. Can get pings from 150 to 250ms.

no, i play at 200-250ms and no delay/lag at all.

Second day playing. And I am totally amazed. HRV OMFG, that makes the game even more fast paced. I already lost count how many times I got killed by using HRV at the wrong time -.- Seriously, I love this game. Though I playing it around 300ms do give me a little bit of problem. Need to get a proxy or gaming VPN quick =3

My only gripe with this game is that it's too buggy. Feels like beta stage testing. Up till yesterday, in game matches all have "Players" name.
I got stuck in every intermission till I have to Alt + F4.

Hmm, don't have name problem for me. When a new player join in a lobby, his info take a second or two to load, that's the only time I see "Player" texts.

Suicide... Hold the grenade ("cook") too long and didn't throw out = suicide. That's the only one I know.

Hardsuits are so OP
Even with HRV, its so hard to find where the weakpoint is.
I got into a hardsuit once, but I got stuck and when I exited it, I fell through the texture and died.

The Hardsuit's weakpoint is the easiest thing to find.

It's that big huge black blobby thing that comes out at the back of the suit between the legs

Hardsuit weakpoint is randomized everytime, use HRV to find it, it will highlight as a dark sort of black spot.
Hitting weakpoint will cause 10x damage, suppose.

Didn't drive it myself but I prefer blow it up. Two rocket hit, done. =p

It's not really that clear, when you turn on HRV, it shows a wireframe with a dark spot, but no idea if that spot is front or back
