is a fast game, and easy to game on, like FPS games, back in the days there was CS and only CS because is easy to setup a game.

DOTA is all about micro...some ppl hate this game because they can't micro...

if you don't like this game, better play other game like CS that no micro required...

Why play? Because I
- enjoy finding out which combos that can have max damage
- finding out combo that is possible to have 'total pwnage' under certain cases
- and then try repeating the same combo on different cases to see how far it can be used
- and have 1hr to spare
- test AI

because i over stress, so i get on game and kill some noobs

weekly activity with friend. can laugh at friend when they do something funny. kind of communication. plus it take not very long time to finish a game. you can feel challenging if enemy is strong or your teammate is noob or feeder.

1 reason.... can lanc ppl.... nice ... i like ppl lanc....

for me Dota is boring (don't really know why, maybe it just doesn't fit my taste)

i prefer games like MW3/BF3/TF2.. (yes FPS which requires skills, yet competitive gaming)

because it's actually a nice game to mess around with.. also incites lots of hate xD

DotA is like chess game, but difference is, it requires much more technique such as timing, awareness etc. Of course, teamwork is most important. How a Queen can win alone if without the existence of soldiers, knights.

different game different lineup different strategy
more fun to play compare to RPG/FPS games but also easier to play than typical RTS game like SC, AOE etc.

Coz dota was created for me

I'm about 3 days new to dota, but am starting to really, really like the game. It's pretty easy to play and the recommended beginner characters have a very low learning curve (e.g. zeus, ursa). The game itself has a low skill curve, which means it's easy to learn the basics and get fairly competent with it in a short time despite not having years or hours of experience, unlike other games. Mastering it, though, will be immensely difficult as one has to memorise all the items and character builds to play competitively.

I'm playing Dota2 btw. Never quite touched the WC3 version- only played it once and decided I didn't quite like it, but oh well. :\

Play dota not for killing people only, the more happiper things is Win the games, you're not must be a carry hero, we should try ganker and supporter! malaysia was lack of this kind of player. Everyone want Farmer, how to fight with others, Remember Dota is a Team game, when you support somone and your team won, you will be satisfied on what you were done
