QUOTE(kcng @ Oct 8 2011, 03:50 AM) why increase employers EPF contributions now? As for the the EPF contributions, LOL!! What have we got to lose? employers the one contributing mah. Be that as it may, u raise a good point though. LOL...well~~ THINK POSITIVE A BIT LA. hehehe...as for the coffers going empty, thanks to ur best frd, Mahaleel la. WHat else? true in a way we get more money, but then again dont that ring some major alarm bells? *country coffers going empty?* and we all know from which sector that the contribution comes from nope...... let me share my experience (in IT sector) with you. sad to say, it is the skills of those so call "engineers" nowadays that is not worth mentioning... rather i should say, it is the attitude of the grads nowadays that is not worth mentioning at all... 1st problem, they cant communicate well. they cant even write or talk in english properly. even if given a chance to talk/write in their local language, they still cannot do it properly. if u cant communicate properly, how on earth are u gonna convince me to hire u? u wanted RM 2.8k, u better show me u are worth RM 2.8k during the interview. not because u have a masters/degree in something means u are worth RM 2.8k the moment u show me those papers. i have ppl with degree/masters in IT from many specific people only institution of higher learning, when interviewed, not only they dont know how to speak english, they cant write english properly (heck they even use short form english in the interview form) and best part is, they dont know basic IT. those good ones from the same specific people institution of higher learning are being spotted and employed before they finish their course... As for the salary in the private sector, kc again raise a good point. But the low salary in private sector remains a fact. I earn only less than RM500 per month now. I can earn in the region of 5 figures if i go Hong Kong. Heck, even singapore is better, if money is the main issue. |

QUOTE(maddriver @ Oct 8 2011, 08:00 AM) well, the employers can pay 1 percent more epf, then tell the potential employee that since epf rate so high, the salary will be slightly lower..... i think the gov needs epf money..... that's why.... hi maddie, how i wish that i have forgotten to add another zero in sg, fresh graduate's pay about sgd2k..... zaypher, u forgot to add another zero, is it? but nah, really rm500. After deduct everything from car loan, study loan, tax, epf, bills, savings....left only rm500. how to buy a house la like this? Well I reckon in another 3-4 years time la. RM5k salary only can buy a decent house me thinks. |

for those who indulge in stealing others' tyre steel air cap. Why not you do your own self a favour by going to the nearest tyre shop, ask for some old unwanted steel air cap? Isn't it easier? Why want to take the trouble of committing an offence?

QUOTE(kcng @ Oct 8 2011, 02:04 PM) we got nothing to lose true.... but this is like forcing the employer's hand and being employer's, they definitely will find a way around this for sure... this is a car thread but without the right budget, how to play car ??*cutting employee's benefit anyone?* so it will still come back to us... and how many here really earn above RM 5k? actually private sector pay is quite attractive... PROVIDED u make yourself employable... u dont expect me to shell out RM 4k, or RM 2k for some idiots that cant speak/write properly right? on top of them not being able to speak/write properly, they dont know what they are doing and they dont have experience (well this one cant blame them)... the facts remains that it is hard to find ppl that are really employable... too much spoon-feeding or robots should i say... chisz... no wai~, this is a car thread no? |

reef_d, you have that megai raizin vs purple color which costs around RM400+...i'm just wondering, what does it do? I'm always kind of skeptical about these VS....but the blue color one is rather affordable?
Anw, what improvement you felt? |

QUOTE(maddriver @ Oct 9 2011, 09:03 AM) after what happened to him, the VS will be the last thing on his mind........ hope the car is still under warranty....... LOL, u r right maddie. I'm so ashamed at myself for asking this kind of question at such inappropriate times My inquisitive nature get ahead of my brain. Well, I've read a lot about the VS, heard a lot of conflicting views about VS. Im no ICE dude and the amount of electrical stuff I use in my car is strictly ordinary, just wondering if it can ensure a longer battery life or improve throttle response? Skeptical but who knows? Anw, all the best to our friend reef_d, hope his car is fine. Forget about my babbling and let others here share their thoughts Added on October 9, 2011, 9:09 amOooooh there's a thread on VS in the technical section This post has been edited by Zaypher: Oct 9 2011, 09:09 AM |

LOL thanks maddie.
I found one guy blog about neo cps...i copied one particular line.. "The Proton Satria Neo CPS is a dream to drive. It goes up to 160 kmph on 4th gear before redlining and I managed to push it up to 170 kmph on the 5th gear. I probably shouldn’t say this, Roslina will kill me if she knew I was driving that fast. Well......i'm sure the neo cps can red line at 190km/h without a problem.... This post has been edited by Zaypher: Oct 9 2011, 10:17 AM |
