Viva Palestina Malaysia (formerly know as COMPLETE, a coalition of concerned NGOs) was founded on the 5th of January, 2009 as a direct consequence of this cowardly bloodbath that descended upon the people of Gaza.


Company Overview
The savage and barbaric attack on the people of Gaza that began on 27th December, 2008 and lasted over three weeks is just one in the series of a long list of atrocities committed by Israel on the people of Palestine.

Killing nearly 1400 Palestinians of which 431 were children is yet another stain in Israel’s disgraceful human rights records.

In the words of the President of United Nations General Assembly Father Miguel D’escoto Brockmann, “It’s a monstrosity, there’s no other way to name it.”

The Palestinian tragedy which began over 60 years ago with the forced creation of Israel has seen a people stripped of their homeland, driven out, made stateless, humiliated, and are now bearing the brunt of Israel’s genocidal policies.

Viva Palestina Malaysia (formerly know as COMPLETE, a coalition of concerned NGOs) was founded on the 5th of January, 2009 as a direct consequence of this cowardly bloodbath that descended upon the people of Gaza.

Viva Palestina Malaysia (VPM) is formed with the belief that a united front among NGOs in Malaysia is required for our voice to be heard by our government. It is a coalition of many NGOs, which cuts across racial, religious and political divisions in Malaysia. We are not aligned with any Palestinian political faction preferring to deal with the Palestinians as a united people.

VPM will work closely with international NGOs with similar objectives, and together as a worldwide united front of NGOs, act as an effective pressure group to governments pushing for a speedy creation of a free and independent state of Palestine.

Vision
To advocate for a just, equitable, prompt and sustainable resolution of the conflict in Palestine, leading to the creation of a free and independent state of Palestine.


Mission Objectives:-

(a) Advocacy
1 – To raise public awareness of the tragic and chronic humanitarian crisis in Palestine
2 – To support the inalienable right of the Palestinians to self determination in their own homeland as decreed by UN resolutions
3 – To pressure major players and stakeholders to intensify their efforts towards a just and fair solution to the conflict
4 – To initiate a global network of like minded NGOs to enhance strength and unity of actions for the Palestinian cause

(b) Medical Support
To identify and support specific medical cases that are presented to the organisation.

© Palestinian Employment Projects
To help create employment opportunities for the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza region. This will be done by setting up identified projects.

(d) Fostering Friendships
To foster friendships between Malaysians and Palestinians in order to help enhance the interaction and relationship between the two countries. This can also help to enable more understanding of the different cultures
