If you recompose in the same plane, then it might work. However if your subject moves slightly front or back, your shot is screwed. Especially when shooting at f1.4.

It won't be a big deal if all you do is just upload your shots to facebook and share...nobody will notice the difference(nose is sharper than the eye)...

yup Af-S sad.gif
i tend to get confuse which Af point to Af then recompose
some told me use center while others say use the nearest AF to subject then recompose

Now using nearest af point then recompose instead of center af point but unsure which type would be better to use

This should be ok? in terms of sharpness

wah the bright line bokeh is quite bad.... shocking.gif am i using the correct term? those green outlines...

I'm thinking it will be good for macro with such crop factor biggrin.gif but still need to see how well does the tiny sensor performs.
10fps seems interesting too, but wonder what's the buffer like before you hit the wall.
*
Well depends on what macro you are shooting.

If you are using the sp90 on a crop body you'd have to stand about one meter away from the subject..with the j1.. How far do you need to stand? Could you even see that tiny spider from the place you are standing?

Not a macro photographer though. Maybe macro enthusiasts can counter my points. biggrin.gif
