Sifu do you use center AF point to focus then refocus?
cuz sad.gif I use other Af point to AF then refocus, image a bit blurry
*
AF-S and not AF-A or AF-C ?

QUOTE(sakurakinomoto @ Sep 21 2011, 10:57 PM)
^ I lol'd seriously.

The small size of V1 makes that lens looks like it has it's own ability to capture image without a proper DSLR body.

LOL ~ it's like holding a solid tumbler and snap snap laugh.gif

yup Af-S sad.gif
i tend to get confuse which Af point to Af then recompose
some told me use center while others say use the nearest AF to subject then recompose

Now using nearest af point then recompose instead of center af point but unsure which type would be better to use

35mm f/1.8 @ wide open eh. Not sure about this lens... but I'll probably suggest you to step down bit.

The fill flash too harsh. You can definitely notice the deep shadow behind the bag and the flash overblown the bag. Probably a bounce or diffused flash will be better smile.gif

I believe Yannick could be helpful. Give him a call and see if he could sort that out for you. If you don't know where to get his contact, google "Yannick Camera" smile.gif

so any nikon model to recommend between this?
d3100
d5100
d90

the best of value?tqvm
*
Given the list, I would say D5100. Unless you could topup from D90 to go for D7000. Well, again depending on what you're looking for in photography. Basically D5100 and D7000 using the same sensor and chipset, just different in terms of controls and ergonomic.

because I got backpack, but can't fit since battery too big sad.gif

Both the body and body grip are kinda robust. Unless you "gasak kuat enough" enough to spoil it laugh.gif

Isn't haze --> UV sorta related?

Anyways the B+W compared is the old one, they didn't take in account for the XS-Pro. Or XS-Pro nano or something... I have both Hoya HD and B+W XS-Pro (non nano), can't exactly see the differences actually. Only main differences I notice is... XS-Pro is harder to clean  cry.gif , which is why I use Hoya HD on my event lens 70200 and 1635, and XS-Pro on my 85mm prime biggrin.gif
*
Yeah, I too have 77mm XS-Pro UV (non-Nano) and it is so difficult to clean sad.gif

It's said that the Nano version will be easier to clean, it is?

sorry discuss about filter tongue.gif.....

err...do the b+w got non nano coated? it is old version?

I own the b+w f pro, that use on my 55200 and 35 1.8. i notice that the coating not soo good
because easily scratch..now both of the filter are suffer minor scratch..
do this happen when i wash my filter with soap? mueheheh
*
The Nano-coat version come in latter version / batch replacing the previous one. When I bought my 77mm XS-Pro UV, M'sia still yet to has Nano-coat version stock. Anyway, from what I could sum up from their official website, it seems that the Nano-coat only helps in easier cleaning whilst the rest performance remained the same.

Seriously... you wash the filter with soap? shocking.gif

It could be possible because when scrubbing the filter, possibly there would be rough particle which may scratch it. That's why when using LENSPEN to clean the filter, 1st step is to use the brush to sweep away any particles on the filter before scrubbing it with the carbon tip. Same goes with car, we spray water from top down to wash away rough particles before starting to scrub with soap otherwise it may scratch the car.

B+W XS-Pro Digital UV 77mm by CY Pixels, on Flickr
My box looks like this.
When did you bought yours ah?

My filters so far no scratches yet... HD x2 and XS-Pro x1...
*
I bought mine early June and according to MPA, the Nano-coat is to replace the non Nano-coat version. Hence, new stock will eventually become Nano-coat version after the initial batch/stock of non-Nano cleared. There should be no such thing as selection between Nano and non-Nano in the market because it's more like a revision or replacement.

And at that time of June when I'm asking around, the B+W distro in M'sia yet to carry any Nano version yet.

aaa...sh!t.....i dont know it could damage my filter...my hoya CPL also got circle where it seems like the coated has peel off -,-

i brought at MPA...garage seller...

my box like this

My box should be exactly the same like both of yours. Well... why you used soap to *wash* the filter instead of proper tool such as Lenspen to clean it? sweat.gif

He's usually reliable, but I'm worried about the previous owner. Scared he dropped it or something before, that's why he's selling it cheap. Will go and try the lens first.

Omg do you know you are the reason that I'm buying the 85!  shakehead.gif Ahahahaha. Poisoned since the Kyra series  thumbup.gif

We need to be in reality. That's what happening to the photography culture at the moment. Many people (but not all) thought they could produce the same quality given they're using the same gears. Even better photos when they're on better gears. We certainly need to straighten this out. I'm not saying you or anyone is one, but we shouldn't lack or only focusing in gears than building own skills. That should be what counts the most before even better gears. My 2 cents smile.gif

less than 2k, i can still afford to sapu le~ if like those 17-55 / 70-200 region.. i cannot afford.. sad.gif
*
You shouldn't compare different type of lenses like that. Each that you mentioned above has different focal lengths and arguably different superiority in different situation. I would suggest you to look at what you need than what you can afford.
