Rubber grip too? I was told rubber grip not covered under warranty.

Last week's incident, already gotten over it.
Really sad, only had the lens for a week. Going to Australia to study soon so I thoght can take gooding bird photos. Now I can't take any photos at all.

Laptop, D90, 300mm f2.8 vr2, Billingham, hard disk and uhh... Mum's jewelery.
They didn't take my 70-300 vr, kit lens and SB-600 though. But then have to wait till I start working to get replacement body. Don't feel like begging for daddy's money again

Happened to my 70200 before, I removed the lens while VR is still active 

I was wondering how come got a loose element >_<, when put back and when turn on it will lock back in place. Now I make it a habit to check my camera is totally turned off before changing lens.

I asked a photographer here. How's the D700? He said the colour was normal, no big difference compared to the D90. Only thing was it's full frame. He used a D90 + 70-200 VR1 before, then he swapped to 5D Mark II + 135 f2. He's happy till now coz he said the 5DMKII gives a nice tone to the picture
