Going to change a new grille, anyone have idea can i sell off the old used grill? Heard that can sell off to those recycle people. Anyone can share some lights?

Yup. Can sell then to the recycle people. Some will come around your housing area in their lorry to collect. Or you could deliver to those recycling centre.

Recycle for charity won't buy they only collect.

You can go to the scrap metal factory/shop tell them you have xx amount of metal, estimate price then they can come collect.

If is not much, maybe just do the contractor worker a favor, ask them sell it and give the money to them for tea.

Just go any scrap metal collector (road side one also can) and ask them to collect. They will have lorry come over your place to collect. Ask them how much they collect per kilo then you can compare which give higher. But many of they also cheat with the counting la. But still better then nothing.

Bought a new grille need few thousands.. but to sell off old one just RM0.80 per kg... which < RM50!!!! sad.gif

Not surprising. The labour to recycle , repaint the whole thing will probably be very near making a new one. Pay you any extra and there will be no difference compared to new.

Buy gold at X rate (X = market rate + labor), Sell gold at market rate x 0.7

Sold the old one to a old newspaper collector which willing to pay RM70 for it... rather than those per kilo which only can get RM50.
