Hi guys,
I have tire problem here. I've bought Ford Fiesta 1.6S 2 months ago.
The tires are Continental CPC2.
Last week, the front right tire (driver side) is punctured because I hit a pothole.
The tire punctured on the side so I've to replace it with a new tire.
Today, the rear tire (driver side) is punctured also. 1 week after the first incident.
I didn't hit a big pothole like the first one, just a small hole.
When I ask the AAM guy who change my tire with a spare one, he says that Continental tires are good quality and comfort but very week at the side.
So if I hit a pothole or go over a road divider, it has a high risk of puncture of the side of the tires.
Is it true? Is there any other tire that is suitable for Fiesta, but at the same time, it's more durable?
some tires may have softer sidewall hence there are risk that the tires get punctured from the side to to impact from potholes. my Falken 912 has the same issue and planning to replace it with something else. got a bulge on the sides for hitting a deep pothole few months back.
