From my past experience:

NFS Shift 1 -Track race.Most difficult racing title I've ever play with aggresive AI and difficult handling.Comes with superb graphics
NFS Shift 2 Unleashed-Track Race.Redefined version of NFS Shift..less aggresive AI and easier handling.Graphics a bit better and for my system run with less lag than NFS Shift
GRID - Track Race.More casual racing title.not so hard and you can actually rewind the race 10sec earlier if you fcuked up your car.Graphics nice but somehow too much bloomy sometimes.
NFS Hot Pursuit 2011 - Illegal Race.Easier than both Shift 1 and 2.Very fun race slamming patrol car and avoiding helicopter spike strip.And yes got Bugatti Veyron patrol car
TRACKMANIA-Hot Wheel styled race.A bit cartoonish graphic and very fun hot wheel like track.You can build your own too.

I dont have Gran Turismo series since i dun have a ps3,just a PC.You can try DIRT 3,FORZA MOTORSPORT,TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED.So your choice...

Need For Speed Most Wanted is the best in NFS franchise although the game came out long time ago

for pc i guess would be rFactor..... got a lot of racing categories there... just google it..

Shift 2 Unleashed

Pure simulator
- rFactor (tons of free mods ranging from F1 to tintop and tracks. Game engine used by F1 teams like Red Bull, Petronas Mercedes and McLaren for their own simulator. If you are lucky you can find real life drivers such as Jaques Villeneuve racing online)


- GTR2 (based upon rFactor's game engine)
- Race (evolution of GTR2)
- C.A.R.S (From Slightly Mad, the developers of SHIFT, a PC exclusive simulator for enthutiast. Note: they were former employees of SimBin, the developer for GTR2 and RACE)


- iRacing (Subscription based, worldwide racing league. Regarded as one of the most competitive simulation racing series in the world. Some real life drivers also used this to practice and hone their skills. Cars have a near accurate physics and tracks are laser scanned)


- Live for Speed (One man team simulator. Quite good, especially for drifting. But updates are infrequent)


- Game Stock Car (Brazillian Stock Car racing by Reiza Studios. Based upon rFactor game engine. Notable racers includes Felipe Massa and Rubens Barichello)


Semi Sim
Codemaster's racing title - (Dirt series, F1 series, GRID). If you want fun without needing to think about car control, these suits you. Lots of grips, insane and unlogical top speed, but still need to have control to make the corner.

Need for Speed Shift 1 & 2 - Semi Sim due to console development. Still much more challenging than any of the Codemaster's title. Complaints about the physics leads to the development of C.A.R.S

Good choice for the simulator. I'm considering Game Stock Car and Race Injection. Both sold at same price, which one do you think the best?
Or should i wait for rFactor 2?
