Getting Started

I notice for my Unifi connection (using Mikrotik router). I have opened up access from 0.0.0.0/0 for port 80, 443 and winbox. Also I have setup OVPN, PPTP and L2TP server. Unfortunately, it seems I unable to connect to my Mikrotik router using Public IP. I can only be able to ping the address.
There are no access records in the logs as well. I suspect that TM might have blocked certain range of TCP and UDP ports

QUOTE(soonwai @ Jan 1 2024, 10:17 PM) At least for me, 80, 443 & 8291 (Winbox) not blocked by Unifi. 22, 23 & 25 are blocked by Unifi. Last I checked was years ago though. Right now when I checked it is blocked

QUOTE(soonwai @ Jan 2 2024, 01:06 AM) Sorry to hear that. Probably some misconfiguration by Unifi in your area. Hi I just double checked my Mikrotik firewall rules. I think I need to be glad that I didn't shoot TM directly. I found out there's one rule in the table that drop all incoming connections not from LAN. I created new rules to open up a few TCP and UDP ports and put them above that "drop all incoming connections not from LAN". And then it works. .
