I just follow Mikrotik wiki tutorial http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Limiting_a_u...t_of_traffic_II

It doesn't working for me to limit the daily usage, I just create a script for daily quota. Am I doing something wrong?

Easiest is to create a HotSpot service, and giving each user a limit (hours and/or bandwidth). You can then set a script to reset the limits each month....

You need to get the Data and Info Channel correct.

Either you find the settings online, or you just trial an error.

If you get the correct Channel, your unit will connect automatically.

Hi,

Currently I am on Unifi 5MB home package and using a RB750GL setup with klseet blog instruction. I follow his instruction to the dot. It works well I had add some port forwarding using the existing rules as a template. Also setup QOS using the Simple Queue.

Recently I had added a StrongVPN interface on to my RB750GL using their recommended setup.
Mikrotik RouterOS PPTP Setup it works very well and I do not have to use an additional router to services my newly Roku 3 and the old Apple TV 2.

Right now I find that the existing 5MB may not be enough as my kids sometimes does stream their own YouTube and also does some bittorrent download. I plan to upgrade to 10MB then does some bandwidth management like limiting the internet to a max of 5MB and also assign the StrongVPN to QS_1 which has a higher priority. Been trying using the existing template but cannot seem to mangle the source (strongvpn) to the right Queue.

Any idea.

I setup for a customer using Maxis Fibre Modem and Maxis Router.

We had to still use the Modem, and the VOIP through the modem.

All internet function was forwarded to a Mikrotik router.

So depending on whether you have the "admin" password to your Maxis Fibre modem, it would be possible.... all we need to know is the VLAN IDs.... for each service

PM me if you need more info.

Well, you should be able to see until which version you can upgrade via 'System ---> License'.

Is Unifi handing out ipv6 addresses already?

Anyway, not really a guide, but my config for ipv6 using 6to4 relays is in post 183 of this thread.
