yahoo may be a data laggard. I might not see the live figure, but now I hope it does not go below 1193.

cause this is the support for the entire session. I am using any tool to guide me, just pure observation. So am I right about the lower support here?

Added on September 22, 2011, 1:00 amtoday is the second and last day(21st) of the meeting. Whether the traders/investors are content or not with the final decision, it will be reflected in the index graph, ie DJ and S&P.

ehh i tot yesterday was the 2nd day of meeting..
anymore QE will not help in anything including boosting equity mkt..
investors may even fear of a backlash if Fed expands its balance sheet further...  sweat.gif

2 choice now imo : sell and sideline or tahan till it's over..  >_>
we are still quite far from 12xx.. LOL
--
aiyo.. all fall untill blur blur liao tongue.gif
~some say HSI F -580 before it's open..
~some say tonight Fed meeting..
~some say QE3 coming..

I was puzzled too. I am positive yesterday was 21st second day meeting. no more meeting.

if our market is really overvalued, why do we have excess penny stocks?

I think Malaysian stocks are the most overvalued market among all asian stocks. So careful what you hold. Cannot rely on technical, the news decides everything. That is why it is hard to predict what is coming.

Operation Twist N force is not strong enough to push the trend against the human fear.

New Zealand market is still 50% above its lowest point since year 2008, whereas our market has shot up 100%. Look, it is moving up and we are going to intercept it somewhere below.

If KLSE can retrace back to 50%, that would be an awesome buy.  Watch for it. It may happen as all FDI exit to take advantage of the twist - going back to cheaper US and Euro equities. Emerging market like Malaysia will get crushed leaving big sharks with small ikan bilis to play in the same pond again.

second round oversold coming. today I saw some new seniors posting, this is the second time.
past history shows strong rebound at the second oversold situation. It is good to use the RSI, and not the Stochastic, just the RSI to monitor the oversold situation. However oversold RSI may go up to five times for MAJOR recession, and we are only two years away from that big recession.

With DJ going "up" 3%, I don't see why KLCI will react another way round
*
hopefully DJ reverses its course in days,weeks...two months is too long. maybe they are in a shock moment after hearing about the Twist. So why does it matter if I am going to hold for one year. Only then, I may expect a slight chance of rebound at that time.

My take is, you don't be too hopeful. If you cannot stand looking at red angpow in your portfolio, time to cabut and wait better time. Else, let's just ride the bear. ROOOAAAARR!!!
*
no. too late to cabut. I have already gave up this last month. now just riding the bear, but I do hope to see many dead cat bounce rebounds ahead.

DJ is indecisive, so more like sideway trading. no trend formation seen right now.

Indecisive? It is exactly what the futures and emini have indicated premarket.

Now, it is trying to find a floor here.  Better watch that support line...
The weekend tomorrow wouldn't help either.

I'm exited 2/3 of my puts, waiting in cash now.
*
your put option is it traded with the...EMW broker? the US broker?
I am thinking of going for put option and short selling, since now bear is more likely than bull atm.
right now S&P still indecisive. sideway trading.

How many of you guys willing to just stay 100% cash and wait THREE-to-FIVE months? Bear season can be 9 months and bull season can be 9 months... Even if tomorrow is the start of a bull market and you only enter after 3-5 months, you still get 4 months of bull to enjoice...
*
yes. I am willing to wait for another ten months the maximum, but I don't hold 100% cash. If US economy is not as serious as said earlier, it may have a chance for an early rebound. Now is also the best time to prepare your shopping list. Do it quick. wish you luck.
you know about this, that no one can predict the next closing price of a given stock. To me, now it's more like don't do anything just yet, don't sell or buy but hold and wait for a clear reversal from the downtrend.

Agree! US market doesn't have to wait that long for bulls side to rise. Even in a bear market, there are cyclical bulls.
One can take advantage of those mini cycles to get out and even profit. Very liquid and very fast moving.
Yes, just wait for the signal.

Tonight is not the night. Bulls must stay clear unless you want to be knife catcher.  brows.gif

My first success during the 'dead cat bounce' is selling malton at five percent profit this month. It was bought a long time ago even before the us downgrade. I would have hold it for at least one day if not because of the very bad market sentiment.
