Getting Started Junior Member 98 posts Joined: Jul 2011	i think the best map to attempt 50wave horde is Overpass. coz the mobs only spawns at the 2 sides of the street and lead up to the center bridge, which you can build 2 barriers without jumpable ledges and a turret as a choke point. so far i've played 4 maps and I still think that Overpass is the best chance (could've reach Wave50 if wasn't for the 3 people suddenly quit) Checkout - the barriers placement are not good as the mob jump across Sanbar - too open Thrashball - not that great chokepoints

Getting Started Junior Member 98 posts Joined: Jul 2011	aiya that lambert berserker only fight 1 time in campaign only (unless Epic spawns TWO bersekers on Insane). S'more quite easy to dodge (unlike Gunkers). Just whether got enough bullets to kill it I think I will try unlocking Infinite ammo and Super Reload before attempting Insane again

Basically you can only get 1 ribbon per life. If a life lasts 50 rounds, you will only get the 1 ribbon. If you die, you can then get another ribbon for doing it. The easiest way is with an extra controller. Start up the game , have controller 2 give their 1k to you, pick a starting post (dockyard was the best because the west, south and northern points all have $500 upgrades). The post counts as a fortfcation then buy 4 more $500 pieces, usually wires. Then die when the wave starts die and pick restart from beginning. That will give you both the starting 1k and you can do it again. Ths takes 1:30 to 2 mins tops per ribbon. Did it in 2.5ish hours today. IMPORTANT: Sometimes the ribbon notification doesn't pop up, you ARE still getting it. Try the method 5 times then back out and look at your the total ribbons in the game you recieved. It will say five and it will register five. I hope this makes sense.

Getting Started Junior Member 98 posts Joined: Jul 2011	its confirmed even in co-op you also get That's Just Crazy (75) and Welcome to Arcade Mode (10) unlike Reach's specific "Finish Legendary Solo" the 2 crucial Mutators that make Insane somewhat playable are . Super Reload . Infinite Ammo those 2 just need the host to have it so he can turn it on in arcade mode on the forum they say just need to farm with bots for 2.5hrs each to get it.... doesn't sound too bad unlike DR1 53k zombie kill This post has been edited by Timemuffin*: Sep 28 2011, 10:56 AM

Getting Started Junior Member 98 posts Joined: Jul 2011	Ya its confirm. On insanity the hooks also take a lot hits rofl. I see the 5-6 guards spawn my balls also kecut already. I am scouring forums to see whats the best method. Another way I see it is, that fight is impossible to do on Insane with 4 players, since everybody dies in 1-2 hits. On my solo Hardcore run, it was kinda bearable since the AI will distract the guards for you. I am going to try a Insane solo run with AI this noon and I'll let you guys know my testing. now for something different instead of b**ing about Insane difficulty. However we would still need to coop 4 people for the other cheevo. I would like to schedule a Casual Horde 50 wave so I can unlock the Laughtrack mutator » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Controller #1 - Your main profile (Marcus) Controller #2 - Guest profile (Anya) MUST select Campaign normal (Arcade does not allow 2 different difficulties). MAIN PROFILE select Insane GUEST PROFILE select casual Act 5.Chp6 - The Reckoning is split to 3 phase Phase #1 . When you load the map you will be on the circular gazebo/lift thingy. Take MARCUS and make him hide behind the circle. . Now use ANYA to mop up all the enemies and pray no stray bullets hit MARCUS. Phase #2 . Queen spawns, everybody will be standing behind pillars. Wait for the Queen to flash her deathray, and then use MARCUS and RUN THE f* TO THE CIRCULAR GAZEBO AND HIDE BEHIND IT. ANYA is under [casual] mode so she will be downed when hit by the deathray. If ANYA is down, just rapidly press A to revive herself. OBSERVATION #1- The Queen will focus her deathray to whoever is shooting her OBSERVATION #2- The guards will not know where MARCUS is if he remains stationary. . 2 Guards will spawn at this phase only. You can let the AI Baired and Cole and handle them . Use ANYA to shoot Queen till the Hammer of Dawn pops up, use it and commence to the next phase. Phase #3 - checkpoint . Again everybody's position is reset. At the beginning the Queen will start humping the tower, again take MARCUS and RUN THE f* TO THE GAZEBO AND HIDE BEHIDE IT. . Because ANYA is on casual, it will take less hits FROM HER to make the Queen stop humping. . Now the Queen is going through her normal Deathray sequences, just use ANYA to keep shooting her and the Queen WILL NEVER target MARCUS. . The AI Bairde and Cole will handle any guards that spawn. Again, the guards won't know where MARCUS is if you do not shoot/move. . I manage to kill the Queen @ Phase#3 with just 2 Hammer of Dawn burst.
