hi all,

just bought my xbox, planning to get gears, a few noob questions:

1. as long as i have gold membership and the game, i can play online rite? any other additional fees?

2. any downloadable content that is region lock? ie if i play in Malaysia, will there be any content that i can't play or download?

3. i plan to buy 2nd hand of the game, anything that i need to pay attention to? such as any redeem code that comes with the game, and after the previous owner redeem, i can't redeem anymore, etc?

1. Correct. There is no online pass, vip pass or whatsoever. You can play online right away.

2. For Gears 3, no region lock to download the DLC . For Gears  2, it's region lock to download the DLC.

3. If you're going to buy Gears 3 limited edition, there will be a code to download extra multiplayer character. No code for normal edition.
