So basically ... after updating to iOS 5, everything obtained through jailbreaking will be wiped clean? Need to do everything all over again?

Just updated my phone to iOS 5, jailbroke it and restored whatever I had before updating it. Thanks guys, for all the discussion and links and information

If I am upgrading from iOS 5.0.0 (with tethered jailbreak) to iOS 5.0.1 before jailbreaking, is there anything that I need to be aware of? All the jailbreaking instructions assume that it's already running on iOS 5.0.1 ...
