trying to update my 3gs (with ipad baseband) to ios5 and wanna jb it afterward. 1st try justnow stuck after load with redsnow. trying again just in case.

Put the unit into dfu move and rejb without tethered boot, if dont work u might need restore.

Make sure you got your shsh before restore.

i don't any SHSH before this cause i just got my iphone4 last week.. since apple already close for sign 4.3
so i can't restore back ... any other solution??

i have a question here. i'm on jailbroken ios 4.3.3. how can i update my ios to ios 5? i edi connect my iphone to itunes, check for updates, and it told me the latest update available is only 4.3.5.

Did u upgrade your itune to 10.5 ? If not, it won't catch up IOS5..

Question here guys, i'm with jailbreak ios4 now, when updating to ios5, do i need to restore ios 4 to factory setting only update to ios5? Or directly update to ios5?

adui... tethered jb mean each time when u reboot your phone. U have to plug into computer & run the jailbreak process again.

u can download firmware directly from here: iClarified:Firmware download

then press SHIFT + click update@restore on itunes (Windows). ALT button for mac instead of SHIFT
