QUOTE(SteadyPana @ Oct 14 2012, 11:14 PM) Tried on USD HDD Thanks for the reply. Just trying to find out if the TV can support play back 3D movies using its built-in media player via USB.But via thumb drive not so sure. I think you have a pretty huge in size of thumb drive - 32GB or 64GB ?? Any idea if there is any difference compared to using external 3D media player? |

I don't have external 3D media player but the built in Media Player was pretty decent as compares to a S@NY 3D Blu-ray player cum Media Player but of course with some limitation like soundtrack decoding etc. Any idea if there is any difference compared to using external 3D media player? |

QUOTE(ICDeadPeople @ Oct 14 2012, 04:08 PM) Its been almost 2 month since i used my 65st50. I can say the picture is pretty awesome, but its quite easy to get ir. Infact i got one quite bad in the bottom right corner (cartoon network logo). Im not sure how long we stay in the same channel, but i can guarentee its not more than 3 hours. I did try playing the color slide, watching other channels and stuff, but until now its still there. Maybe its getting dimmer. Will continue to observe this coming days and see what happen. Emm... even already change channel its still there? |

I just buy THP50UT50K yesterday and need some advice.
Currently, i'm using component input from my Panasonic DVD player(8 years old) to the tv, and notice the grain noise if look close. The cable i use just the normal composite cable, which i plug audio(red, white) to the component slot(green, blue, red) of DVD player and TV. Will there be any improvement of PQ like color and noise reduce if i get the better cable like monster cable as component cable? The unit is without wifi adaptor right? need to buy seperate wifi networkcard? And True Cinema mode seem to be quite yellowist comparing cinema mode. Anyone can share the setting? i turn almost everything off |

Hi peeps, just got my 50ST50K
As I've been reading in the forums, certain "best practice" or I should say calibration is required the moment you get the unit....what are the things required to do or check whether its faulty the moment got the unit? |

QUOTE(Kerry1136 @ Oct 17 2012, 11:42 PM) Hi peeps, just got my 50ST50K It'd be good to check the usage time (how long has the TV been switched on and how many times) to ensure its not a demo/used unit. I don''t know how, can someone post how to check this?As I've been reading in the forums, certain "best practice" or I should say calibration is required the moment you get the unit....what are the things required to do or check whether its faulty the moment got the unit? |
