Dropped points for the first time this season...

Well we didn't have Rooney, Smalling was out, Evans got injured in training and Hernandez gets injured in the first few minutes.

I say a draw is still a pretty good result.

owen looking quite dull though.

Of course he was. He played midweek, then was trusted into the game very early. Pretty jaded I say.

Bawahahha last minute own goal, what a drama

By Richard Dunne - now the leading top scorer of own goals in the Premiership. What an "honour" laugh.gif

international break coming at the right time.. time to recover for Rooney and defenders.. Basel and Norwich arent an easy game, but it provide a little bit of breathing space, and we'll be playing @home.
*
Basel and Norwich = Not easy? shocking.gif I won't really look down on them, but any result other than 2 wins this week will be a shock.

i fully expect us to win, comfortably, handsomely..

there's no easy game, especially we have depleted squad, or most of the first choice XI are out.. WBA away are 'easy game', but we just nick it 2-1..
*
WBA was actually our "gamechanger". After our miserable away form last season, that victory was very important. And it did help when we won 5-0 at Bolton.

Stoke was kinda "unlucky" for us. We could have won, if not for the injuries we had (Rooney, Smalling, Hernandez, and Vidic to some extend). But if we win the next two games, we should gain back our morale.....

Erm, don't mind asking but why is our defense looking a bit lost at the moment? Need to tight it up before Basel find their shooting boots...

Man, Basel's man-marking the players like they are on steriods. Once they have the ball, straight close them down....

Someone needs to tell the defenders that this is not a Sunday pub team.

If we lose tonight, I hope Fergie give them one hell of a trashing.

This is not supposed to happen. But it did. And someone is gonna pay the price.

QUOTE(dzart @ Sep 30 2011, 08:16 AM)
Update on injury news: -

Javier Hernandez is expected to return in attack after suffering a dead leg at Stoke, but Wayne Rooney's absence may continue - he was only jogging on Monday as he recovers from a hamstring injury. The Reds could be short of numbers at the back again, after Chris Smalling (groin) and Jonny Evans (ankle) both missed the Basel match alongwith longer-term absentees Nemanja Vidic and Rafael. Meanwhile, the midfield ranks look healthy with only two - Tom Cleverley and Darron Gibson - ruled out.

btw, just curious. Will SAF give Lindergaard a chance against Norwich because DDG already played against Basel?  hmm.gif
*
There is a better chance that Welback will be alongside Chico than Lindergaard playing this Saturday brows.gif

Is it true?

Beats me. But if other newspapers are reporting it, then should be true.... so far at the moment, it's the Sun... and most of their stories are "half-baked".
