QUOTE(k3vin82 @ Jan 10 2012, 10:01 AM) yup , sppp - good strings... topspin cyber blue also - good strings... alot of these days co poly are very nice .. do a hybrid with a cheap synthetic.. its nice... dont need to spend so much on expensive co poly 's like rpm and lux i feel.. most of the cheaper ones are as good i feel.. for those who has cost as their priority but want the advantage that poly provides, hybrid-ding is good, but you may need to experiment with the cheap synthetic gut. Some syn gut is comfortable at the go, but some like head syn gut pps might take some time to get used to.

QUOTE(k3vin82 @ Jan 10 2012, 10:32 AM) For stringers, hybrid or full synthetic is such a pleasant experience .. hehe.. i did a few hybrids this past few days and its so much nicer to string compared to full setup of poly which is a pain in the ass.. haha Added on January 10, 2012, 10:32 amI'll be using hybrid from now on already. the non-textured polys are easy to string. most of the time, it's the textured poly that is the pain in the ass (finger). textured and stiff is a bad combo for stringers.

QUOTE(Jules @ Jan 10 2012, 11:31 AM) Argh.... damn bad stuff. Last Saturday my Radical cracked. What racquet to get now??? how did u crack your racket?! QUOTE(Dark_Angel85 @ Jan 10 2012, 11:43 AM) Hmmm.. I'm always worried about switching strings. Have tried ALU rough and ALU Power Rough before... somehow didn't just make the cut (or is it because I've been playing with kevlar almost forever).... I'm kinda feeling that crossing kevlar with poly.... erm... how do i get such a combo? Buy Crossfire II, buy ALU Rough, and string? WOWZZ $$$$$ Also, I mean, i've tried soft polys like black code and red code before... didn't seem as ~soft as what I thought it would be.. wouldn't string kevlar AND poly be kinda like kicking the edge a little bit? ok ma, xfire ii + alu rough... you get 1 set of xfire+alu rough and another set of alu rough+syn gut. it would be pricy, but i dun think it's such a good idea.

QUOTE(Jules @ Jan 10 2012, 12:23 PM) Thanks for the offer bro, but I find the Youtek series a little too stiff for me. So I was using the Flexpoint Rad. Anything in the market that is perhaps a little heavier? Perhaps 330gm strung, but not too stiff. I normally play baseline. No Babolats for now, they're so stiff. Oh, I called a couple of shops, the new Head and Wilson line are arriving around CNY or early February. Apparently no change in RRP for Wilson. Added on January 10, 2012, 12:24 pmWell honestly... I really didn't know why and how I did it. Bah. exo3t if you don't mind the bad PJ quality...

QUOTE(FedererFan @ Jan 10 2012, 09:56 PM) Hi, I am looking for a K Six One Tour 90, preferably the US Version. I don't mind any condition above 6/10. I am prepared to consider any Asian Version K 90's if the price is cheap enough. For the US Version, I am prepared to pay a good price based on condition. I have one US and one Asian and I leaded the Asian to the weight, balance and swingweight of the US Version as I really like it. I don't mind Gripsize 4 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 or 5/8. Thanks. try asking another forumer by the nick of zdepth.

QUOTE(dragonfreeze @ Jan 14 2012, 01:07 PM) Hi. i just started playing tennis n just bought the wilson us open 110 racquet. How do i know whether the price was right and whether it's original? i dont see any hologram sticker on the frame. at first i thought because simply it's a beginner's racquet. if it's written US open 110, it's definitely original. and you are right, it's a beginner's racket. there's nothing wrong getting and playing with it but you might outgrow that racket very fast if you are persistent with your training.

QUOTE(praetorian @ Jan 16 2012, 01:37 PM) To be honest from my opinion....it depends on the user's tennis level..... 98 to 93...you should not find that much of a difference.....if you think you may have a problem try and borrow a friends racket with a 90-95 head...if you can hit within reason then a 93 shouldn't be a problem..... even from 110 to 90 isn't that much of a problem. but the problem lies with your stroke. if u brush alot, a bigger headsize will suit you better. if u're a flat hitter, a smaller headsize won't make much of a difference.
