if u string poly, try not to go above 54lbs. a range between 48-54 is best, up to personal preference.

Guys,

Need to ask some opinions regarding strings/stringing.. It's that time again to restring and I've never been one to change that much.. been playing poly's most my life and wonder if it's time for a change.. Been reading up the comments on TW on Babolat PDRGT and getting more confused.. with a stiff racket, best go with synths/combo/hybrid on mid/high tension setting or keep the polys and tone down the tension? Thanks up front..
*
it depends whether you have arm problems or not.

like you said, pdrgt is inherently a powerful and stiff racket. if you don't have arm problems and with the right stroke mechanics, then any set-up would do. theoratically, if u go with syn/combo route, u might lose some spin.

Hi all,

Would like to ask u guys staying around Damansara/PJ area, where do you guys string ur racquet? My racquet need restringing...
Prefered string would either be Babolat or Luxilon. Hope to hear from you all soon.

Regards,
Chris
*
try pacific sports near the atria area, or u can drive a bit further and string in sportsprises. i know sportsprises carry bab/lux but not sure about pacific sports though.. check the 1st post of the thread for the almost-complete list of sports shop.

Alamak talk abt pacific. Wasted my set of cyclone today. string wrong, supposed to be up down up down got 2 parts they put up up down down.

I only string there but first time got this mistake.
*
bring your racket back and ask for complete refund inclusive of string costs. totally unacceptable. even if i string wrongly like your example (and i actually did a few coz i was not paying attention), i will cut and restring again.

successor of Prostaff 6.0 95 is back. I dont know how to describe that racket but what i can say is the solid touch feeling is incomparable. I never try BLX Six One but the physical structure of the frame does not really attract me.

inv: tomorrow bukit OUG condo ON? My weapon is restrung and it would nice to swing with it...Excited ni..
*
Yes tomorrow morning in oug is on. C u. U remember how to get there?

Don't know about you guys, but i find most box beams very unwieldy and though steady during ball contact, feels too demanding for tourneys. I can handle 1-2 games but after that, I'd stick to a k95 thank you.

Especially the k90 or ps85... damn man... monster racquets... sweet spot is superb and unmatched but I couldn't wield it a week of serious playing
*
The ps85 is a different beast altogether compare to our ak90.

inv : why not we meet at some mamak stall or anywhere..we minum 1st before u drive there?? taipan?? puchong or anywhere? u suggest lar..
*
like that ar, meet me at ss19 melur. about 7am. as u past the bridge across kesas highway from usj to subang jaya, keep left, turn left at the traffic lights. u will see row of shops on your left and right. go straight, and u will past by some malay stalls on your left. turn left again after the malay stalls, and melur will be on your right.

Added on October 21, 2011, 11:03 amhey guys, remember the prokennex stick i got about a few months back? if the ps85 was it's cousin, then this must be the long lost brother.

Long lost brother... (some say it's the gate to riches untold...)
