 kancil 660 na radiator fan died,

yesterday my car temp suddenly above middle mark when traffic jam and when it near the red mark I immediately stop at roadside off the engine... when i on back i realize the fan is not moving even when i turn on the air-cond... then wait until no more jam and drive it back home... can anyone recommend me a workshop to replace the fan motor or check maybe other thing like fuse putus? I dont want to chopped by black-shop.... btw, I in PJ ss2 area....

that fan no fuse, only relay...check relay first...relay is near to fuse box

or give the fan motor a few knocks and see if it runs again. if it does, that's the problem

Buy the radiator fan & install yourself......save lots of $.
Only 3 screws......good luck

try to check the connection to the fan 1st, mayb is the connection is no good, ^^, if no problem, check relay to reconfirm whether is fan spoil or relay

sorry late reply d, i follow ThunderGod_Cid give it few know and its really runing but with very low speed, i guess its really fan spoil d, and i ask my mech he said if change to original denso need RM230 coz need to take out the radiator tank

its around that price. AFAIK they only change the motor thing and your fan will still be used back (the fan blades)

not 100% sure though, as i changed my air cond radiator fan quite recently, not engine radiator fan ^^;
that one is cheaper though, and id assume the engine radiator ones is just slightly more expensive/around that price

Different make different price. I remember Wira one is around RM150 (if not mistaken)

yup, just change the fan motor only, they use back my the original blade...


Added on October 1, 2011, 1:11 pmi wonder can i add another fan (e.g Jasma Slim type fan) in front of the aircond hot side condenser ? will it be any improvement to the aircond cooling ?

dont think so lol, the main cooling part are the cooling coils and the front air cond radiator smile.gif

You had problems because the original one failed. Now it have been changed, should not have problems, so you don't need the extra one fitted.... biggrin.gif
