Me too, I have that exact thought, but then I tried to rationalize it by thinking that maybe their psychic power are now fully focus and solidified into their new shape and power which is the Agito.

Foundation-X was pretty much a last minute wild card added into W by the Producer(W&Fourze), which was not part of the greater plan for the new era of Kamen Rider. They probably wanted to end it once and for all before it goes out of hand... But I'm thinking that it's already too late.

Like what Alternate-Zero mentioned, different head producers. W's head producer was Hideaki Tsukada who is also the head producer for Fourze, while OOO's head producer was Naomi Takebe. There's a big different in their style of work as Hideaki Tsukada and his staff team put more effort in the mantaining the continuity of the show which is why W's movie and side story fits quite easily with the tv series.

Mean while, Auntie Naomi's style is pretty 'cinchai' as long as they get the work done, that's why everything else outside of OOO's tv series does not even fit even if they claimed it's canon. Auntie Naomi have been working as a co-producer and later head producer in most or all of the previous heisei Kamen Rider series, so this was how they do it back then. She's also the reason for casting pretty boys to play the main role. ---> I think she's just a spoiled brat... err, lady...

An obvious nod to the Apollo luna rockets. I bet Apollo states has three stages and comes with external boosters and will be able to fly directly to the moon without even using the bike and the robot...

Doubtful, if he can do that, then the bike and power dizer would be totally useless(even if those are only used for atmospheric\gravity well breaking launch)... I am kinda thinking that Apollo states allow him to launch himself directly into space and will be able to reach the moon under his own power...
