I really hate those "I will finish this guy with my finisher and...opps...someone pops up/stops me/etc"

It is getting REALLY REALLY OLD

Yeah...but with rider series, it happens almost every episode, and twice now that we have the mandatory 2 fight scenes in an episode

Fixed, MOST of other KR series doesn't have "DISTURB YOUR FINISHER" scene much

It happens frequently since post-Decade era..no matter how they will drag it so the monster will only be killed the next episode...too formulaic for me...

what about OOO? all TaToBa finishers got disturbed.

Most heisei rider series keeping the monster for 2 weeks/episodes/arc to finished off the monster. It's not unusual, that's how rider is.
Compare to monster of the week like sentai, I rather choose 2 episodes for 1 monster.

It happens a lot in most heisei rider series.. I did research some episodes from heisei riders 2 minutes ago..

actually 2 episode 1 monster, but the monster design/costume is nicer n higher quality

i wan complain Forze's lightning costume so wrinkled not nice
he should iron his costume haha

There's no going back though, the target audience are kids and kids have short attention span, that's why Sentai rules with it's MOTW formula, while we get a two episodes format for Riders. - The element you hate is still the most simple and effective way to split up the story.

It's supposed to be wrinkled, it's a nod at the gold coated heat conducting blankets used on satellite and the luna lander.
