Just announced early this month.
Think would be on market by October.
Price unknown.
But possibly lower than TurtleBeach / Tritton High End Wireless Headsets.

Actually CREATIVE do have very great Headset for Console & Multiplatform too, but don't know why they stay unknown within the Public.
Maybe they don't advertise much.

Though I didnt test any of TurtleBeach / Tritton products, but what I can't agree for the balance on Price range within their Products that claimed to be specified made for consoles, which feel sometime to be stupid for buying such (Sorry dude, its technology is not match with the price value, 2cents).

But most of us will feel satisfactory on CREATIVE sound products.
I'm confident with it.
And the price is quite acceptable. smile.gif

The nice thing which I like about the Turtle Beach PX5 which I have is that it's one of the few headsets that knows how to balance the chat volume with the game volume, so it doesn't overwhelm each other that much.

The other nice thing about the Turtle Beach is that it has a mic monitor, so you can hear yourself talking. Less screaming into the mic.

Wow that looks really nice. And yup, me too is happy with my previous creative products. Hoping that Creative won't be jumping into console-profiteering bandwagon, agreed on the sentiment that tritton and turtlebeach of being priced really high (more into sennheiser price point). But well, choices are pretty small for xbox compatible headsets till now.

Btw finger crossed, those spec sheet really screams High-End.

That ss7xb is coming to Malaysia by end of september. I am interested on that too.

Still I will compare it with ss Siberia v2 ps3. As I am looking for universal headset. Not going to buy 1 headset just for chatting in xbox.

If ss series fail to meet my requirement, maybe only I will grap for that Astro A40.

Need a headset for my ps3/xbox/ future tablet and future iphone5 smile.gif.
As I researched till nOw, trend is going for wireless and ss is the moat comfortable and compatible to most of the devices I am into..

Yeah true , but this headset is compatible for Xbox , PC, MAC too.. probably u should get the PS3 Version when is in ~ rclxms.gif

wow the price is cry.gif
but somehow the specs is worth its pricetag (quadcore processor, hardware-Dolby, hardware-THX, etc) so some might find it ok. btw gonna wait for reviews first, or even better some ears-on.

for the f540, it's just stereo sound (not even 5.1) but most will find it already adequate.

well, i'm not that competitive a gamer, I tried the foot steps one for a while in Halo:Reach but didn't really like the effect, so I turned it off. The fact that I could turn the volume up and hear people around was good enough for me.

Creative using 2.4Ghz for the wireless... more prone to interference from the same band stuffs like the wifi and such... price tag also way over me budget, so no go for me...

hmm... now I'm considering the Razer Chimaera 5.1, price tag = RM580
review seems not too bad also, anyone using here?

Some claim separated drives for true 5.1 like in AX Pro aren't really good as you can't really distinguish the direction of the sound from the smaller drive... hmm.gif
