Hi guys, you see. Today I went shopping.

So while shopping I found this tv.

It's an 40' 1080p Full HD LCD TV. It has 2 HDMI cables plugs, and a Pen drive USB plug, which you can plug in your pendrive containing videos / musics / photos to view them on the LCD tv.

So the tv also reads mkv,avi,mp4,mp3,3gp formats. It's so cool .

After starring at the cute 3d cartoon playing on the tv, the sales assistant came and explain to me(all above).

He also say it includes a 1 year warranty and insurans for the LCD TV.

Okay for the price. It's Rm 1599 ( Original RM 2099 ) Promo ends on end of this month.

So guys, should I buy?

It's a TOSHIBA p40 something? I not sure, it's like 40p something i think?

Specs do seem good, but is it?

First do homework, google for that model and reviews. Toshiba is not popular for it's TV.
About those stuff you can view using the pendrive, mostly limited features, you will find its better to get a proper media player than rely on those found on HDTV.
FYI, a good medi player is heavily dependant on firmware updates. I doubt any brand of HDTV will provide up to date firmwares.
And lastly. Do get the latest released model.

now i think can get around 2k - 3k

btw this is LED....vry slim design unlike the somewhat bulky LCDs

Okay some may say 2 HDMI is not enough.

The thing is though, do you need more than 2?

Astro use 1, then the other...? Blu-Ray player (if you have one, that is) and that's about it right?

Unless, of course, you richfag got PS3 + X360 + Astro Byond + PC for the TV.
