Since Federal goverment holds too much power, nothing rakyat can do except voting.

Ameno/BN screwed Malaysia hard man. Hopefully rakyat will realised this and vote for PR.

Good-lah initially they would settle down with low pay demand and willing to steal jobs from locals just to land themselves here.

Then in a few years time with experience, when they get more ambitious settling down, they'll start thinking of claiming citizenships through naturalization and live like any other Malaysians.

It is then they'll start to want cars and homes just like any other Malaysians. You will start seeing them demanding from their employers for higher pay and join the protest for low wages. Too late by then.

locals demand RM1.5K (just for example) and safety measures improved (esp in construction industry), Banglas just RM800 can walk without harness/helmet etc etc etc, so bos tak happy

but no more Banglas, so FORCED to take locals

now locals more jobs, working condition improved

Bangla low cost labour won't last long.

Later when they assimilate into society and crave homes and cars, they'll also start threatening their bosses to demand more salary.

So in long run it doesn't bring any good.

imagine if they have protest in kl, it wont be so nice as bersih..

Taking in more immigrants is short sighted solution. It just adds more weight to the problem. Later when they start applying for PR or citizenship, they'll join the rest of us in claiming for higher salaries because of the rise in living.
