my office use Mitsubishi my house use Mitsubishi and my parent house also use Mitsubishi.Which is from 1hp to 3hp so far so good for me.....might be you choose the one without heavy industries wording??As i know those with heavy industries wording is slightly expensive but worth it.

sad to say, many aircond people do installation this way. VERY scary. I insisted on them using the metal frame as a base, at least it there is an edge. but if it does fall......

tell the air con seller about this DAMN installer, so that others won't be another victim......

TS, i experienced with slow/ bad after sales service from Mitsubishi, their technician came to check & confirmed compressor faulty only, not repair on the spot. then waited for another 3 weeks and follow up with numberless of call only they came to repair/ change the compressor

For safety reason the compressor should be secured. No question on that. 
However, since this is located at high levels, fastening the base of the compressor is also going to pose a high risk.
How is the worker going to reach the base of the compressor?
Later on, when there is a need to service the compressor, how is the worker going to reach the base of the compressor to unfasten the holding down bolts?

A good installer would have install a MS bracket that is attached to the wall. Since the fastening bolts are higher up, they can be access easily from the opened window. The base of the MS brakcet will prevent any slippage and movement of the compressor.

Generally, the installation workmanship is really bad

Feel like answer "i can even buy your life with my money" ~ but dont think i wan to waste that money for his life~

He is the contractor, not the seller. The things he does:

1) drill my wall without my consent just to avoid the aircon indoor unit. Actually he only need to install the indoor unit 2cm lower then everything will be ok, no need to drill at all. When i found out, he already drill 30% of the wall edi, cant be stop. 



2) After the piping, the wall is not fully seal off, still got some uneven surface with visible concrete.

How much had you bought this Mit Aircon? 1 or 1.5 hp?

Actually I would prefer to ask how much has TS paid for the installation job.

I asked the person how come dont have screw on it, he said he installed few hundred unit like this and nth happen. Then ask back me "Why other ppl nth happen but u wan to do it?" and keep said the floor that put the outdoor unit cannot put screw, need mounting. I tell him its about safety and even the mounting also mount at floor or wall, any different on that?!

then he said "want screw can, need to add rm 30 for the screw". then at the end he said "need add rm 30 wor, u got the money mah??!!"... i was like WTF, i am the unit owner!~ so i just hang up and gonna find someone else to help me done that.

Added on September 16, 2011, 7:17 pmAnd another problem is the aircond piping. My room have pre-installed aircond piping where i dont know its original from the unit or installed by the ex-owner. I always hear water dripping inside the wall whenever the aircond is on, not really sure is it the sound between water and pipe or the sound between water and wall..
