I did try through counter in one branch in Skudai but they don't accept Amex

For Esso/Mobil that accepts Amex, is the payment have to be done through counter? I tried few places through the pump but it rejected my card, since I was lazy to go inside to queue so I just used my Mastercard.

Other transactions no problem.
Changed to Esso/Mobil recently, so I won't try others until I have no choice. Tried it in multiple Esso/Mobil stations already, earlier I just assumed those branches don't accept Amex. |
