Umai-ya @ IOI Boulevard accepts AMEX.

Vive la Vida @ IOI Boulevard and Bibiwok @ Bdr Puteri Puchong do not accept AMEX.

New additions:

Maxis @ SS2 (same row with Public Bank) accepts AMEX.

Maxis @ One Utama DOES NOT accept AMEX.

Well, both SS2 and OU are MEP outlets, not Maxis Centers. But the one in SS2 accepts AMEX.

Key Power International (Signboard: 2XU) @ The Gardens doesn't accept AMEX.

As far as I know, all Nichii outlets does not accept AMEX.

Do they even accept credit card payment for loan repayment? That would be like paying a loan with a loan...

What about direct debit? Did they mention that as well?

I was a MESRA card user last time. It used to be 1 point per litre (RM1.90 per point), as opposed to 1 point per RM for SMILES card.

MESRA card redemption for petrol is 1 point = 1 sen, same as SMILES (RM10 = 1000pts). However, SMILES do give better petrol redemption if you redeem RM45 with only 3000 points.

So I would say SMILES still gives better benefit.

I guess most Petronas accept AMEX at their pump now, which make sense...else, the RM5 rebate campaign will be a joke. Tested at Genting Sempah R&R Petronas, approved as well.

Just an update to a post long ago regarding Maxis. I've just used it on Saturday at Sunway Pyramid.

PRL = Polo Ralph Lauren. Fashion Not sure about merchant cat though. You would know, i presume.
