wow.. gsc also accept amex. smile.gif
Is it all GSC or selected gsc?

I have been repeating this many times.

GSC should accept AMEX if the cashier swipes on the UOB terminal. If EON/HLB terminal is used, it'll be most likely be declined.

My friend said that 0% installment plan AMEX at Harvey Norman is depending on which product that you're buying. It may and may not impose extra 3 to 4% fee.

The terminal in front of the staff is very likely from EON and it doesn't support AMEX.

If you have Union Pay, it'll be better.

From my two trips to Chengdu, even Visa and Mastercard also pretty hard.

All done yesterday.

Whose is the cinema operator? Cathay? GSC? TGV?

I think TGV 1st Avenue doesn't accept AMEX. The guy in front of me handed over his MBB2 AMEX but the transaction didn't go through.

By the way, TGV is using Citibank terminal.

Just found out totday that if you pump at self service kiosk, they'll withhold RM 200/250.

But if swipe over the counter, no withhold amount.

purposely went to etiqa thinking they're accepting amex. when everything done and time for payment, the agent servicing me declined my amex2cards. (quite smart of her actually, knowing that there's a backup). forced to use visa, but at least got that 10% discount.
*
Any reason given for declining AMEX?
