The day I went to Adidas JPO, the cashier did not accept my AMEX.
why? but the list in the first page of this thread shown they accept.

Possibly, the Rock Corner Midvalley "purposely" do not accept AMEX.

2 possibilities:

1) they do not accept AMEX now, as opposed to when the first page is setup/updated
2) that parrticular cashier do not know their receive it.


there is once in a guardian in batu pahat that do not accept my amex, but the next time i went, i just go and try my luck again, and it's a different cashier and they accept again.

TNB kioks at subang square, ss15 subang jaya can use amex. But over counter cannot.

Went to All IT Hypermarket in Lowyat today - they accepted AMEX for purchase of external HDD / few cables but sales guide for components (wanted to buy 3 HDD @ RM399 each) said price if paying via AMEX or Master would be RM410 due to surcharge and that "Every shop in Lowyat has this surcharge)

Anyway, went to Viewnet instead to purchase, NO Amex surcharge, same disks @ RM399 each smile.gif

Went to dinner at Brux-Ale in Bangsar, also accepted no problem.

Jaya Grocer - both Empire Subang and Damansara Perdana didn't accept.

haram jadah punye cashier, wasted my TP and 5% rebate.
Polo ralph lauren outlet accepted my AMEX.
wow, spend rm1k there.5k TP.haha.

Went to Nike JPO before CNY.Counter stated only accept Master and Visa.
But gave them Amex, no problem to swipe. rclxms.gif

All IT always practice that way, surcharge if pay by CC.. while Viewnet, there is no surcharge if using CC, what price you see is what you pay using CC.. but, if you say you want to pay by cash, you will get discount icon_rolleyes.gif

Topshop / Topman @ Sunway Pyramid accepts AMEX
Uniqlo @ Sunway Pyramid accepts AMEX

Benefit @ 1Utama DOES NOT accept AMEX

Tried to use my AMEX to pay for TM bill on weekend by maybank2u.
get 5% rebate~~haha

Bit strange that for the other items I bought (external HDD and few cables) they let me use Amex without surcharge

Maybe their margin is higher on those products ...

Anyway at least viewnet accepted :0
