Try to pay a small amount (~RM5) during the weekend and check the transaction record in M2U. If during weekend, then pay the rest  brows.gif

Used my AMEX on Saturday morning to buy a new laptop from Dell online.. but the transaction only kicked-in Monday morning.
Lost the RM50 rebate there. Might as well opted for the 12mths 0% installment.
Sad..
*
You never read the previous threads..... it's already known that DELL only processes AMEX transaction 3 times a day (9am, 12pm, 4pm) on WEEKDAYS

I called MBB and they said the 5% rebate is based on transaction date and not posting date
*
That's correct. BUT Dell won't transact on Weekends

Transaction date is the date we make the purchase. If you bought the laptop on weekends, means the transaction is on weekends. Eligible for 5% cash back
*
Let us know if you indeed get 5% (via Maybankard2 AMEX on weekend) for Dell purchases on weekend doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Transaction Date = the date the card is charged/swiped
Dell doesn't work on weekends to charge the AMEX as they do batch processing for AMEX.

for this times, do the 5 percent discount for amex?
*
Agoda booking must be done via Maybank's link and uses Visa/MasterCard to get 7% discount
The given discount will be deducted when you enter the Maybank Credit Card number (first 8-digit) at the payment page
