A few question need to asking about battery issue and rooting.
1) Root mean jailbreak AKA Crack or Break the code am i right ??
2) Is that any rooting that easier so i can get some app in to my phone?
Example, Jailbreak= Go to his website, click and done.
Crack = Copy & paste to software that private.
Keygen or other crack solution = Reg file format & Generate the key
3) If let said i root it, Is that possible that i can make my battery life last longer ??
4) Does any people do service for rooting, i don't want spend alot time to study root because i got alot job to do, I wiiling to paid better i spend the time from Zero to hero.
5) Or If there any shop does have the last longer battery sell which had original ?? I check with Authorize samsung shop, they doesn't have. It quite drain my batter and EVERY day i need to charge.

Note: I'm a heavy duty using such as every hour got incoming call and messaging, Is quite unconvince for a person which got alot call.... T.T

then after another decade u oso duno which phone to buy, cz new phones are coming out every quarter. for example now the new trend will be galaxy note, but u'll think that "ah! ipo®n 5 is coming up! lets wait". then when ipo®n 5 is out, u'll say "eh, galaxy s3 is on the road in few months" 

suggestion: choose one, aim it, forget about others. dun regret and look back at the price. the value of IT products will never appreciate but always depreciate wif a crazy rate

over the weekend, checked out what's new on Samsung Apps.

i got prompted for some updates... installed them... then downloaded a few stuffs...

next day, i noticed i get some korean notification... *sigh*

it does not break android... but it does go to show android is still a long way to go when it comes to being an OS that had got high 'quality standards'...

lots of little issues everywhere... like what i highlighted previously...
* 15% min battery level for the camera apps to work (this to make sure you have battery when used camera..but since I'm using custom ROM, so no issue on this one.)
* wifi sharing service (+1 more wifi related service) running in background even though wifi sharing is not enabled. (freeze using TB since stock ROM..some custom ROM even remove this totally..so no issue here..)
* unstable wifi connection to the point i need to off and on wifi for it to work again (sometime happened to me..but not all the time...depends how suck is the wifi modem speed...)
* deleting a saved DRAFT message is not easy... no one click option. you have to empty the message by deleting word by word (can select all and deleted..why human now so lazy..)
* contacts in message will show ALL contacts (if you have multiple accounts -- regardless of what is done) (not sure what you mean, i used GO SMS apps..no issue in sms..)
* nerfed gmail apps -- can't attach files other than images files FROM GALLERY (and MUSIC, i think). it seems it is possible to attach doc, etc... but it depends on manufacturer..(stock gmail suck bad. I used K-9 mail and works great!)
* BT pairing with another android device can be painful -- dun have 'always trust and accept files from this android device' option..(never pair with android but no problem pair with winmobile and symbian)
* Samsung kies -- nothing more needs to be said. (never used since everyone know samsung problem, not android.)
* Samsung dive -- very similar to kies. super half-baked service/ product. thank goodness is free, though another way to look at it... we did indirectly pay for it. (never used since everyone know samsung problem, not android.)
* gallery seems to be 'picky' about the photos it wants to list. i have some photos taken on the phone before i installed the microSD card. after putting in the card, i moved the photos from the camera to the card. gallery has decided NOT to show them. to access the files, i need to use File Manager. (like others says, using QuickPic here)
* outside of SGS2, you have things like core apps that dun work properly -- the new Market is a good example. It could not really update apps properly. Instead of 1 click to view your apps, the new apps requires 2-3 clicks.
(still prefer old market compare to new one..)

its really minor things... and most ppl probably won't even notice it. but still...

Morning everyone...Here's my question for today.

Under APPLICATION---there's an icon CLOCK. Inside, there's Alarm, World Clock, Stopwatch and Timer.

My concern: ALARM
I created an alarm for my daily wake ups and I set it at 7.50am. Alarm repeat is set from Monday to Sunday (every day).

Under alarm type: I set MELODY (not many options to choose)

Volume: Hell yeah! It's a full blast!

Under Advanced setting---Alarm tone---I click Go to My files---I choose my own ringtone as my alarm

I click SAVE after setting and lo and behold, this morning, it churning out a low default ringtone as alarm. (WTF??!! It's really soft and I nearly couldn't get up this morning)

Anyone can help me with this alarm issue? I'm very dependent on this alarm to get me up in the morning.

Damn, looks like Samsung is gonna replace the bounce effect with the blue glow when you overscroll. This sucks, the bounce effect is one of the little things that I love about the SGS2. Think I'm gonna refrain from updating unless there are some obvious benefits then.
Methinks this has to do with the Apple lawsuit as I believe that the bounce effect is Apple-patented. (could be wrong)

guys, below is the battery calibrate steps which copy from 1st page.
just want to verify that,
is if for non-root users go for steps 1-5? den root users go for steps 6-12?
or is it need to run all steps, just non-root users skip step 6?

How to calibrate battery ?

1.Run the device down until it turns itself off.
2.Turn it back on and wait for it to turn itself off again.
3.Remove the battery for 10 seconds.
4.Replace the battery, but leave the device off.
5.Charge the device until full and then for another hour.
6.**Root users only** Using a Terminal Emulator, type “su” enter, followed by “rm /data/system/batterystats.bin” ( can also be done more easily through CWM or SGSTools app)
7.Run the device’s battery down until it turns itself off.
8.Turn the device on and charge for at least 8 hours.
9.Unplug the device, turn off, then charge for another hour.
10.Unplug the device, turn on, wait 2 minutes.
11.Turn off again and charge for another hour.
12.Restart and use as normal.

Hey guys, when i check battery usage it always show "maps" 10% above. Problem is, i never open google maps or papago or even enable gps. Is there any apps automatically will be using maps eventho i didnt open? Maybe voice command?

i just got this phone but it adi giving me headache...I dunno what's wrong with the 3G coverage...After some time, the 3G or the H symbol will only show the green arrow and not the orange 1. I disconnect and reconnect again also the same and i can use the data for surfing at all..it only ok after i reboot my phone...but then it'll happen again after a while. At 1st i thought is the coverage but i tested with other phone and it's all fine. Can any1 please help me...so disappointed...
