And no you wont suffer any burns or getting uncomfortable during use.

It only gets uncomfortable during charging, even then it's around 40 degrees celsius only.

In general, all phone heat up during more intense usage. Why do you think the Evo will be exempted from this issue?

firstly what is your phone model i9100g? mine there written i9100 only in the phone info, this information is very critical since jetterz tan flashed and screwed up. My sister also got her phone from DiGi but i could easily flash a stock firmware for her, so i dont know why its giving trouble for cf-root which is supposed to be closest to stock kernal but my sister's phone came as kf1 firmware, cant be sure whether DiGi's new stock is actually a different model or not. Concerning which kernal you should use, better u use back KH4. actually any version of the kernal will work well.
no ur not, the update for KH2 happened like 3 weeks ago only, in any case, go and find a xp comp, another reason why i dislike buying fruit stuffs

im curious what is the main difference between i9100G and i9100. is it any hardware diff?

just got my unit from ss2 digi centre. My unit is i9100G also, does it mean anything bad? I was really worried and tot of not taking it;( Firmware is KH4, anyone can tell me whether this is the latest one?

Btw, i think the pink cast prob exists on my unit. Will updating firmware fix that?

ps: i don't intend to root my phone yet.

Can just ask someone with i9100g to type the specs at the back of the box.

But if samsung is really gonna replace i9100 with i9100g then the g version will get more updates. Example g version already got 2.3.5 android while the original i9100 is still stuck at 2.3.3
