QUOTE(mydragoon @ Sep 19 2011, 03:19 PM) one of the things that caught my eye while downloading stuffs from samsung apps (that caused my phone to now have notification in korean) was some launchers... heh heh... what app is that?installed and tried them... including some themes... cool! the applications screen [attachmentid=2442790] more application screen [attachmentid=2442791] home page menu [attachmentid=2442792] adding home page and setting main home page [attachmentid=2442794] this is what i like... can have more than 5 home pages and you can set which one as the main one. by default, the middle one (3rd page) is the default page. the launcher... [attachmentid=2442789] oh ya... did i mention? no rooting required! |

QUOTE(benzourry @ Sep 25 2011, 08:56 PM) I've tried KI3 (2.3.5) firmware. which version you use?? the non-wipe version?Few changes I noticed: - Font is back to normal (normal and slim and clean compared to kh4-ki1,4) - when you overscroll the list, you get a nice bluish light effect at the end of the list. - more responsive than ki4(2.3.4), like it used to be. - seems like no wifi problem here. - Gmail 2.3.5 battery din check yet. but i believe should be better with 2.3.5. |

QUOTE(Gilthoniel @ Sep 26 2011, 09:56 AM) hi guys, if you feel the yellow tint is annoying.. go back to the shop and ask for exchange within 7days from the purchase date.i just got my SGS2 yesterday (benny, kindly update me on the user list?) and the firmware is 2.3.3 KF1 i have been trying to google and i'm going crazy... seems like the only way to flash it to 2.3.4 is via Kies or by rooting. I'm not wanting to root it yet, but the problem is Kies is not compatible with my Lion Mac OSX. Tapping on software Update in my settings menu (on the phone) states "no update available" 1 more issue with my phone is the yellowish tint on the left side of the screen. only visible when on low brightness, but very annoying. it's just a slight tint but still damn freaking annoying. any help guys? here's a screnshot of my current firmware... [attachmentid=2453729] as for updating to 2.3.4... not necessary need to root your phone.. you can update it by using odin as the is still no official 2.3.4 firmware for malaysia set. please refer to page 1 for more info on how to upgrade by using odin.... |

QUOTE(ashwin1234 @ Oct 1 2011, 12:23 AM) Running on stock KI3 ROM with stock KI3 everything. Performance is so much better on KI3. Earlier used TV out ( read a few posts before, just search for 'hour') for 1 hour and now battery left 21%...... you are using the KI3 with old bootloader or the new bootloader? To everyone else, my quadrant score is 4500+, nearly 4600 on 1.5GHz |
