QUOTE(TheLaptopDudeGuy @ Sep 19 2011, 09:35 AM) ninphetamine gives me auto reboot issues, i dont use speedmod or siyah kernel as i cant password protect my private apps on it, so i have no choice, but to use cfroot kernel... really? i'm on ninphetamine.. no reboots ever.any other users having the same issue? are you OC'ed? QUOTE(tony @ Sep 19 2011, 10:37 AM) some posted white SGSII arrived in Malaysia.QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Sep 19 2011, 10:49 AM) what are the differences between the notifications ringtone in message setting and an the normal setting -> sounds -> notification ringtone? are there any differences? QUOTE(Joey Christensen @ Sep 19 2011, 10:59 AM) I had the same question too! After fiddling it for a while, I think it's the same. I tried changing my ringtones but whenever I click, there's only two options: To add your own downloaded music as notification/ringtone sound,One: Android system Two: Zedge (I downloaded this from the Market) Is it possible to add another in because I got "Download Music" as another source of ringtones and I must say it's much better than Zedge (my humble opinion that is). go to My Files>media>audio>create a folder called 'notifications' or 'ringtones' and place the downloaded songs into these folders, the next time you wanna change the sounds, the choice will popup when you choose Android/System |

QUOTE(Joey Christensen @ Sep 19 2011, 11:29 AM) You've been very helpful but as silly as it sounds, may I know where I can get access to the "My Files"? It is under SETTING? OK.1. click on applications (it's the bottom left blue square icon assuming you're using the default Touchwiz) 2. scroll around all the apps until you find a yellow folder icon with the tag My Files 3. scroll down till you find the folder 'media' 4. click on 'audio' 5. click create folder and name them either 'notifications' or 'ringtones' 6. go back to My Files and scroll till you find the folder external_sd 7. find your music file and long press, choose to copy or move, and go to those folders you created and paste them there. ok? QUOTE(TheLaptopDudeGuy @ Sep 19 2011, 11:37 AM) i never oc b4. weird thing is only ninphetamine give me reboot issues, other kernels no problem hmmm... stock rom? kitchen rom? |

My Wi-Fi signal has been very strong so far. No issues no matter which kernel or don't I flash.
I've seen many white devices including the iPhone turn yellow over some time. It is the nature of the colour easily seen when yellow. All devices will wear out in time. Just that white seems more noticeable. |

Instead of the white Galaxy S II, I think I'll be more in a rage for the Note.
Curious how the IPhone 5 will be any different seeing that they have announced there will be just 'minor changes' in GSMArena |

I wonder sometimes how much battery life do people want? I've got a lot of iPhone using friends who also charge their phone everyday.... like me, going online most of the time does take the toll out of battery life.
I too can last until I'm back home later in the evening to charge it. I mean, you want it to last for 2 days before charging with heavy usage? I don't think any fella can claim that no matter what phone they are using... unless they pump some mutant 2700mAH battery of course... I'm quite contented with the SGSII's battery life. It lasts me well throughout the day without worrying about charge. |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Sep 30 2011, 09:36 AM) Well, like you said, apples to oranges right? Some love mutants. Some are a-OK with homosapiens. hahahaha Added on September 30, 2011, 11:02 am QUOTE(Eiraku @ Sep 30 2011, 09:59 AM) Yep Momax, ugly as hell but NOT as expensive as the Mugen AND it's proven by Tids2k's measurements over at Xda to have 2658mah REAL capacity (Spider-Foot/Adinda extended has 2400mah vs the quoted 3500mah). could you post up some pictures of how 'ugly' it is? With your usage (which i know should be darn heavy), how long does it last? Can start a bulk for those too if anybody's interested. still interested with your USB OTG you know...
