Yes when the screen turn off like old tv. You can just do nandroid backup. Flash jkay mod. See if you like or not if not just revert back to your nandroid backup.

hmmm i dont really need the effect as im using jkay too for my cognition

Yup you can just flash over. PLEASE download right version of jkay. Look for version 9.2 for KG5 deodexed version. Also just do backup very important before flashing stuff. I think DK should support siyah best you check out DK thread on xda.

actually i have flashed a lot of custom rom.. i did wipe everytime before flash.. first i flashed liten'ing v6.1.. ok.. then i flash to batista, the wireless not working.. try cognition.. also not working.. xtreme not working.. miui working.. now xpower not working..

p/s: not working here means i left the wireless connected.. then after the phone idle for while, when i try to surf net, the webpage cannot be searched, market oso cannot access..

anyone can help on this? =) thanks a lot..

oh ya last question , the ''Service Pack 1 FOR POWER 1.0 ONLY!'' what is this for ? i need to flash it ?

in this case, try setting to the channel 13. fixed for me for every wifi network i've used so far. i used to restart modem everytime it happens but now i didnt need to.

That's the latest local/malaysian firmware. It's android 2.3.3. But why the kernel is XWKDD instead of DXKH2.? Are you trying rooting your phone?

The one in message is the tone you hear when you receive SMS. The one in settings is the general one for everything else eg. batt full. If you do not set the one in message it will use the general one in settings for SMS receive.

Under settings , its a ringtone for all notifications eg emails , sms , mms , etc ..... In sms , its only for sms and mms
