hey guys, i realized something weird... sometimes if i wanna sideload an apk file (like bobd3clock or mario wallpaper) but if the file is shared on Filesonic or Megaupload, etc, how come Dolphin HD browser or stock browser won't download it?? instead, it completes the download within seconds, and a 20-100bytes .htm file is downloaded instead. very annoying...

however, i tried with Firefox browser and it downloaded fine..

is this some kind of restriction or is there something i need to do before I can download any kind of files? I haven't tried ROM zip files yet but last time i could download ROMs directly (except from filesonic) on my ZTE Blade

any help is really appreciated. google searches didn't help much to explain the situation

Last week, went out to yumchar with fellow forumer. What I find is that my S2 is dimmer at lowest compared to his S2. While this is not a big deal at all due to different batch and lcd setting, but it does make a pretty big difference in battery life. Since I can barely read anything at lowest, I have to up the brightness while his was easily readable even at the lowest. As a result, my screen takes a 50% chunk compared to his around 30% or so.

so the new i9100G would still be advertised as SGSII?

slightly inferior but better support for more Tegra2 based games

but it still offers better compatibility compare to Mali GPU

eg there's more games can be run on SGS1 compare to SGS2

correct me if i'm wrong, 9100g r using ti omap rite, so the only diff is processor??? am i rite,...?

isnt the prime will be using ti omap also...?

Wanted to ask something, using A-GPS, I just have to enable use wireless networks right? I have disabled packet data and data roaming and wifi is off..........is it still working? some forums say wifi must be on and another website says it charges a little to use the data to get a lock...

how to enable a-gps?

The second Samsung brand phone that i bought. The first was Samsung Harmonix (I'm still proud of it because it has the world's first mobile to spot a polyphonic ringtone) Mine was in pearl white colour. LOLZ!

By the way, I used a Samsung Galaxy Mini charger and used it on my SGS2. It works!

I'm not sure about other Samsung's make/model available. But when I used the Mini's charger and I snugly slot it in my SGS2, it prompts for charging. Some of the fellas here had some problem when they want to charge their SGS2.

Anyway, it's for sharing purpose.
