Hi,
I'm actually looking for a more safe n alternative method to prevent my dog from fleas n ticks infestation, thus i'm quite interested with this product, but i have a few questions in mind which i need them explained....
1. U mentioned that the powder has hard fossils which can cut the flea/tick, then the powder will dehydrate it from there rite? Will it cut the skin of my dog as well?
2. I understand that it will also dehydrate my dog's skin, but how dehydrated will it be? Like will it become wrinkled or flaked or skin peeling off?
3. For flea n tick prevention, should i use it topically or ingested?
If topically, do i need to apply it every day or before my dog goes out or after my dog comes home from outside? As i'm concerned that if i apply it every day, my dog's skin & fur will become too dry.
If ingested, may i know how it works to kill of the fleas n ticks? And will eating this cause my dog to be dehydrated as well?
4. You mentioned that it can kill tapeworms and a few other intestinal worms as well, but how about heartworms which is mostly affecting the heart? And you said that the powder needs to be fed every day, but what will happen if i forgotten to feed her for lets say 1 day or a few days? (Coz humans will occasionally tend to forget also

)
Thanks for your attention

Hi,
The DE is death to parasites, while harmless to humans, animals and the environment.
It can be drying to the skin but not to such an extreme as you think

That's why it's only needed to be used 2 times per week and very lightly dust when there are fleas.
Both, as pets most probably might have worms as well if they have fleas. It is perfectly safe for oral consumption and even promotes shinier coats among other outstanding health benefits.
Internal feeding helps eliminate most internal worms, including heartworms. Once start worming with DE, do NOT stop the daily DE for at least 3 weeks. Keep in mind by setting a reminder etc.
