is it possible/can install game from Blu-ray to hdd and juz play it from there? or we still need br to play it.?

well, that not what i meant. i thought there are still some kind of encryption. or mayb we can install most of the files to hdd yet need to insert BR for verification purpose, which can reduce stress/usage on BR laser.

any different on PSN account if it m'sia or US account? like region restricted games n etc?

juz gotten my ps3, but there is no input detected on my monitor. so i would like to ask the type of DVI needed to use.

as per the above picture, does i need the exact DVI pin where it is 3 on left and right side while middle is missing 2 pin?

as the hdmi(f) - DVI (M) i'm using, the DVI(M) has full pin which is different from the above. is this the cause of no signal?

i have tested that the hdmi cable -dvi converter is working as i plug in the hdmi to my GC and instant image on my dell monitor, but not from ps3

UNSOLVED!! Again, thought finally resolved but it suddenly state no dvi-d cable detected

my situation, either get sound only or screen only.
1.Y? here is the condition, if i plug in the red and white cable to Y cable as per 1st thread, i get the sound. but the screen goes off.
2. i use a , then plug into my pc soundcard. whoila, the screen is ON!!

so, how do i solve this situation in order to get both sound and display?

Any advice on configuring ps3 download speed = pc dl speed? as i realize ps3 dl speed is so cacing
