ok, in layman term:
1. PS3 is region free.
2. Game is divided into regions.

Game Regions (R1, R2, R3, R4)
if u r using My acc., buy My games (i.e R3) for peace of mind.

Before buying, u can see the symbol on the game's cover.
Some internet/mudah seller will show u which region they're selling.

If online contents is crucial to u (DLC etc.), pls register acc. according to ur game's region.
Since u r new, i suggest u reg. for My acc. & buy My games,
becoz it's easier for u to buy online contents later (borrow parents credit card etc.)

On other note, when u r getting familliar with My acc., later u can reg. for other acc. (ie US, Jap).
some regions got different free game demos compared to My.

Buying online game from different region is a hassle.
if u r using My credit card, the billing address must be entered.
i think u'll exposed ur original location. u have US acc., located in My, credit card billing add. is My.
if u r using PSN card, make sure u r buying the right region PSN card,
(i.e buying US DLC using US PSN card)

when i open the box there got registration code
it ask me go square enix website register
once i login acc go press register game
the code i have cant type in first code i had is 6 word
but in there just can let me type 4 word = =
and then why my ps 3 some times will hang = =
any idea?
so far 1 times is game till half hang
another is when i go my message and i wanna change my status i go edit then hang on there = =

Um, I dont have problem but definitely i know SE has codes for their own website to get some membership stuff or somethign. Nothing to do with PS3 DLC.

PS3 hang can be many reason from old unit, to poor ventilation, to shake to much until the insides are loose so best you talk to the person u bought. Some games also can hang especially if Multiplayer types (eg FIFA 13 which hang on me a few times alredi). FF13 cant remember got hang or not but maybe once or twice.

and yesterday play heavy rain around 1 hours++ when play till half hang

im using official sony vertical stand for ps3 slim .. any vertical stand are good enough bro , worth to get it

Hey guys, so I bring my ps3 to the technician and they remove the hd and it turns out to be faulty and to buy a new one they offer me rm380 for a new hd for my ps3.

But as my parents were there, my parents insisted me to buy a new one and I bought the new super slim one.

About my old ps3 slim one, is there any way I could remove the hd myself and buy new cheap hd ?

You guys know where which type of hd I can buy ?

Im using pega with the fan.. feel like wasted..

The fan is not even cool.. and whats the point cooling it at vetrical..I mean the ps3 heat is coming from the back. ..

just get one of this vertical stand , doesnt matter if its sony product or 3rd party , but the best for sure sony vertical stand .. one more thing , do not buy all sorts of cooler ( including intercooler and any vertical stand with cooler ) , it wont help to reduce the heat

Hahaah, I use it just for aesthetic purpose and the darn fan makes lotsa noise. Luckily got it on the cheap (RM 10 - )

Iinm that normal vertical stand is much more expnsive ..

But when i bought.. Noisy ..the fan is not cool at all..

Now im only using it as a stand only
